 IRETE OSE
1. Ifa says that when the person for whom this Odu is revealed coming
from heaven he/she chooses as part of his/her destiny, the blessing
of great children. Consequent upon this, he/she will never lack the
blessing of the fruit of the womb. If there is any difficulty or problems
in getting his/her own babies, such problem is just a temporary
development. The problem will soon disappear and he/she will
become a proud parent of great children. Ifa advises this person to
offer ebo with two matured she-goat and money. One of the she-goat
will be used to feed Ifa. When this is done he/she will have cause to
rejoice. On this, Ifa says:

Who was the wife of Agbonniregun
When she was weeping in lamentation of her inability to receive the
blessing of the fruit of the womb
She was advised to offer ebo
She complied
Before long, not too far
Join us in the midst of many children
That is what Ifa guarantees his devotees
2. Ifa says that there is the need for this person to propitiate Orisa Oke
in order for him/her to have resounding victory over all adversities.
Ifa says that offering this ebo and feeding Orisa Oke will give him/her
triumph over his/her enemies. Ifa advises this person to offer ebo
with four rooster, four guinea-fowls, and money. He/she also needs to
feed Orisa Oke with one guinea-fowls, 16 snails and alcohol. On this,
Ifa says:

Oko fiiri agija
He was the Awo who cast Ifa for Oke
When Oke was in the midst of enemies
He was advised to offer ebo

420 hoes they gang up together
They conspired against Oke
1460 jiggers they grouped together and conspired against Oke
The 420 hoes that group together to conspired against Oke
And the 1460 jiggers that gang up against Oke
Oke is bound to see their ends and become victories over them all

3. Ifa says that this person shall be blessed with stupendous wealth in
his/her life. His/her wealth will be so much that people will consider
yhim/her money personified. If the money in not yet available, it will
 just take a question of time before he/she gets the money. Ifa
advises this person to offer ebo with four white pigeons and money.
He/she also needs to have the icon of Aje in his/her house. If this
person already has it, there is the need for him/her to feed Aje with
one white pigeon, Ekuru, (bean fritter without salt) oil or pepper and
honey. On this, Ifa says:

Who doesn’t know that we are all running in pursuit of wealth in this
world

4. Ifa says that there is the need for this person to offer ebo against
hindrance to his/her progress. Ifa says that there is going to be a
tremendous improvement in his/her life. However, a time is coming
when all progress in his/her life will seem to stop suddenly. His/her
efforts to make things improve will not bring much result. Whenever
he/she notices this, he/she needs to offer ebo with two guinea-fowls,
two pigeons, two roosters and money. After that, he/she needs to
feed Ifa with 200 land snails. When this had been done, he/she
needs to look for fresh pandoro leaves. He/she will grind the leaves
into fine paste, add salt and spices to taste, and use this to prepare
four land snails for his/her consumption. Before he/she consumes
this herbal soup however, he/she needs to use Iyerosun to imprint
this Odu (Irete Ose) on either Ifa tray or white flat tray. He/she will
recite this particular stanza and after this, he/she will add the
Iyerosun to the herbal soup and then eat it when it is cool. On this,
Ifa says:

Aresa
 They were the Awo who cast Ifa for Orunmila
When all the people decide never to come to Orunmila for Ifa
consultation again
They declare that they will never step into Orunmila’s home anymore
Orunmila retorted that if it were to be his portion
All those who cast Ifa
And who decide never to offer the ebo
And those who consulted me for medicine
And who decide never to come again
I declared that Oloyangada leaves of the farm
Ifa select them all to come
Orunmila pick them all to visit me
The snails of Ake and those of Oko land
Their mouths are all in one position
All the rich people of this land
And the prosperous ones in this land
All of you should raise your voice in Unisom in my favour
Now you Irete ose you are the one people call Irete Alaje, Irete of
wealth
It was when you became so wealthy
That your wealth surpasses all the 16 principal Odu
That was when people began to call you Irete Alaje, Irete of wealth
If it is true that you are really Irete Alaje
Come and direct unprecedented wealth to me

5. Ifa says that this person is going to be very successful in your life.
His/her success will be so great that he/she will become the envy of
his/her colleagues. Ifa advises this person to offer ebo with two
pigeons and money. He/she also needs to feed Ifa with one matured
she-goat. After this, he/she needs to look for Ina leaves, Esisi leaves,
Aaragba leaves, and 200 Egbee leaves. He/she will burn everything
into charcoal and grind it into fine powder. He/she will pour the
powder into a container, preferable a bottle gourd. He/she will
slaughter a hen and put the blood to the back of the gourd. He/she
will stick the feathers of the hen to the bottle gourd and be using this
powder little by little to take porridge. On this, Ifa says:

Translation
Isan is the Awo of Erefe
Arodan is the Awo of Ajewo
They cast Ifa for Orunmila
When they were going to place the hand of financial prosperity on
Orunmila’s head
He was advised to offer ebo
He complied
Ifa it is time for you to come and place the hand of financial prosperity
on my head
With haste does Ina leave burn a child
And with rapidity does a child rush out of a farm that has Esisi leaves
Aragba leave is known for it spontaneous action
Orunmila it is time for you to come and give me your support
Let me be blessed with wealth, spouse, children and all the Ire of life
My hand had got hold of my own Egbe leaves
With rapidity and certainty does Egbe leaves give support to Olu-Igbo
6. Ifa warns this person against being too inquisitive. Ifa says that
he/she loves to do daring things. He/she however needs to be careful
for him/her not to use his/her own hands to drag trouble and
misfortune into his/her life. There is the need for this person to offer
ebo with one matured he-goat and money. On this, Ifa says:

If Ifa does not come to pass like a dream
An uninitiated person does not experience fear

And thereby creating disaster in Olofin household

7. Ifa says that it foresees wealth for the person for whom this Odu is
revealed. The wealth that Ifa refers to is going to be very huge. Ifa
says that he/she needs to feed Aje in order for this wealth to come
his/her way. Ifa advises this person to offer ebo with four pigeons,
plenty of ripe bananas, Ekuru, (bean fritter without salt, oil or pepper)
and money. He/she also needs to feed Aje with the same materials.
On this, Ifa says:

Orunmila says is the movement of the multitude

Now what is it that Aje consume in Ife before she moves into
ones house
Bean fritters, bananas, and pigeons
That is what Aje consumes at Otu Ife before she comes into
ones home

8. Ifa says that it foresees resounding victory for the person for whom
this Odu is revealed. There is the need for him/her to protect his/her
life. Ifa says that at anytime that this person plans to go on any
journey he/she needs to find out from Ifa very well before he/she
moves. Ifa says that there is the need for this person to mark
incisions in all the joints of his/her body. The officiating Awo will then
use Eko, corn meal, to rub the blood that comes out of the points of
incision that has just been made for him/her. The eko will be used to
feed the Elders of the Night. The moment he/she does this, the
Elders of the Night and other negative principalities who are busy at
work against him/her shall stop all their nefarious acts. Ifa advises
this person to offer ebo with three roosters, 16 land snails, 10 blades
and money. On this, Ifa says:

9. Ifa says that this person’s secret shall never be exposed to the world.
He/she shall never face humiliation and disgrace in life. Ifa also
assures this person that he/she is going to be blessed with longevity
and his/her matter in life shall turn to joy. Ifa says that those who
know his/her potentials will always plan to destroy him/her but they
will never succeed. Ifa advises this person to offer ebo with five
roosters and money. He/she also needs to feed Ifa with the kolanut
that is still inside its pod. Ifa says people will be planning for this
person not to live up to the next year but they will not be able to stop
him/her from living up to his.her old age. On this, Ifa says:

The strength of a tempest cannot uproot a tree stump
They are ones who will be harming each other

10. Ifa says that this person is going to be blessed with resounding
victory over his/her enemies. He/she will also be protected and be
given sanctuary by Ifa. Ifa advises this person to offer ebo with two
hawks, two pigeons, three roosters, one he-goat and money. On this,
Ifa says:

11. Ifa says that anytime that this person wants to go on a long
journey, there is the need for him/her to offer ebo so that where
he/she is going will be successful and his/her home he/she is leaving
behind will witness no calamity behind his/her back. Ifa advises this
person to offer ebo with three roosters, one he-goat and money.
He/she also needs to feed Ile and Ona as appropriate. On this, Ifa
says:

12. Ifa says that this person is sleeping and waking up in the midst
of enemies and antagonist. Ifa says that he/she is going to overcome
them all. Ifa advises this person to offer ebo with three matured he-
goats and money. He/she also needs to roll one of his/her dresses
into load pad and offer it as ebo. On this, Ifa says:

13. Ifa says that if this person experiences any hardship in his/her
chosen career, there is no need for him/her to despair over that. This
is because all his/her wants shall end this year. There is also no
need for him/her to change his/her job or career. Ifa advises this
person to offer ebo with four pigeons, four guinea-fowls, four roosters,
four hens, four ducks and money. After this, he/she needs to feed Ifa

Join us where we brought prosperity from the farm to the house

14. Ifa says that without this person’s own personal property,
he/she cannot be said to be comfortable in life. Ifa says that it is
when he/she owns his/her own living property that his/herr joy will be
complete. This is the reason why this person must do everything in
his/her capacity to ensure that he/she has his/her own house where
he/she lives. Ifa advises this person to offer ebo with two pigeons,
two guinea-fowls, plenty of land snails and money. On this, Ifa says:

15. Ifa says that this person is going to receive the blessing of all
the good things of life. There is the need for him/her to continue to
feed his/her ancestors on a regular basis. Doing so will guarantee for
him/her accomplishment, success, elevation and victory. Ifa advises
this person to offer ebo with four rats, four fish, two guinea-fowls, two
pigeons, two hens, two roosters and money. He/she also needs to
feed his/her ancestors as appropriate. On this, Ifa says:

And was listening to benevolent pleas of human being

But his own children were not successful
His own children were suffering from wants
They went to the home of Gunnugun
Gunnugun offered ebo for them
But the ebo was not successful
They went to the home of Akala
Akala also offered ebo for them
The ebo was not accepted
They went to the home of Tentenren
Tentenren offered ebo for them
The ebo did not meet with the approval of the divinities
Only Opele came to their rescue
Only Opele remain behind
And was mending their lives for them

16. Ifa says that when this person is coming from heaven, his/her
financial success and prosperity were inexplicably attached to Ifa.
Consequent upon this, he/she is bound to succeed. The implication
of this however is that the more he/she dedicates his/her life, hopes
and aspirations to Ifa, the more prosperous and wealthy he/she will
become. Ifa advises this person to offer ebo with two hens, two
pigeons, two guinea-fowls, one matured he-goat and money. He/she
also needs to feed Ifa with a female pig. On this Ifa says:
