Procedure For NPD Handover

Preeti Engineering Works has a standard operating procedure for handing over a product from development to production. The development team reviews the product requirements and specifications and prepares documents such as production flow diagrams, PFMEAs, and control plans. They then prepare drawings for manufacturing and any necessary jigs, fixtures, or tooling. A prototype is produced and inspected, and if approved, the product and documentation is handed over to the production team to begin batch production.
