    WHAT TO EXPECT
    Low Pressure Area
    • The “LPA” may develop into a Tropical Depression within 48 hours while moving
    Northeastward over the northern boundary of the PAR.

    RAINFALL
    In the next 24 hours, the Southwest Monsoon will bring:
    Moderate to heavy rains over Ilocos region, Zambales, Bataan, Abra, Apayao,
    Benguet, Batanes, and Babuyan group of Islands. Light to moderate with at times
    heavy rains will be experienced over Metro Manila, Tarlac, Pampanga, Bulacan,
    Occidental Mindoro, Batangas, Cavite, and the rest of Cordillera Administrative
    Region and Cagayan Valley.

    WHAT TO EXPECT
    Under these conditions, flash floods and rain-induced landslides are possible
    during heavy or prolonged rainfall, especially in areas that are highly or
    Very highly susceptible to these hazards as identified in hazard maps. PAGASA
    Regional services divisions may issue local thunderstorm/rainfall advisories
    and heavy rainfall warning while the hydrometeorology division and river
    Basin flood forecasting and warning centers may issue general flood
    Advisories and basin flood bulletins as appropriate.
