Fitted bolts are with close tolerances. There no clearance between hole and the bolt,. This is to avoid relative motion between
the coupling flanges. If there is clearance there is chances for failure, especially while transmitting high load. Fitted bolts are
used in rudder and rubber stock connection, tail shaft connecting flanges, some of the engine foundation bolts etc... Sheared
off or broken bolts are termed as shredded bolts.

Q3. You have taken reading of crank shaft deflection of A/E...how will u come to know it is right.....not compare with previous
reading .....wanted to hear something else.
Q4. Testing of crank case relief door ..inplace .....was asking for another one....I told him about hydraulic and air hose one.
Q5.when a boiler is laible to be surveyed.was not asking about period ..wanted to knw about volume.

Then he handed over register to murthy sir.....he said u pass FINCTION 3 and repeat MEP.

Told him take other generator on load . He told me the winding temp would decrese. 
2 overhaul of gate valves . Then he asked me draw the diagram of gate valve
