Mr. Ervin Reyes, the district coordinator of ICT, demonstrated the application to teachers and emphasized the importance of learners writing their reference numbers and fully shading answer circles so that tests can be correctly read and scored by the scanner. The teachers then tested the application by grading sample answer sheets.

One major struggle for teachers happens during test administration. Checking, recording and doing the test results
plus analysis are just one of them. Late last year and earlier this year, an application was introduced to lessen the
burden of the teachers in the said statement above. Exscanner is an application that has the following features: Add
Long-press menu for Items in Class and in Contest, Add Copy feature for Items in Class and in Contest when Long-
pressed, sort Graded test by Keycode, New answer-sheet WSZ50, Edit ZPH30 and ZPH40 and Fix auto email.
As the District Coordinator of ICT, Mr. Ervin C. Reyes, the school of Lalakay Elementary School, called for a
short SLAC regarding the latest application tool for education. He had explained the importance and the how to use the
said application since Second Quarterly test is approaching. He said that we also need to orient the learners on shading
the given answer sheet so that the scanner will be able to read and scored their answers correctly. Learners Reference
Number (LRN) is also important because the scanner will not be able to read the sheets if LRN is missing.
