USES
Suitable for use on hot metal stacks, furnace equipment, kiln flues, exhaust systems, hot pipes and similar areas exposed to dry heat
attack.
SCOPE
A protective coating designed for use in areas where heat resistance is required at a wide range from 250- 500 degree centigrade. It is
recommended for application over Zinc Primer.

SURFACE PREPARATION
Remove grease, oil and other contaminants preferably by using Bison Degreasing Solvent. Blast Clean to a minimum of Sa 2.5
Swedish Std. SIS 05 5900 with a surface profile not exceeding 35 - 40 mic for Zinc Silicate Primer application and 25 - 30 mic f
direct application of Lumeros 37 on blasted steel.
If blasting is not practical, make full use of mechanical tools along with manual chipping and wire brushing to remove loose rust
and scale to St:2 / St3 Swedish Standard SIS 05 5900. Excessive burnishing of steel is to be avoided. Throughly dust down all
surfaces.
The metal or primed surface should be clean and dry before application of Lumeros 123 HR Aluminium. Blasting is a must if
applied over Inorganic Zinc Silicate Coating.
APPLICATION
Mix the contents throughly before and during use.
Brush : Apply without thinning to recommended thickness.
Conventional Spray : Add upto 3% Thinner 853, depending on conditions. Use any standard equipment at an atomizing pressure
of 2.8 - 3.5 Kg/Cm2

Notes :
o
1. Do not apply when temperature falls below 10 C or rises above 50o C and when relative humidity rises above 90%. Do not
apply during rain, for or mist.
2. Addition of Thinner in paint is normally not advisable.
3. Brushes and spray equipment should be cleaned with Thinner 853 otherwise equipment is likely to be damaged.
4. The coating has to be air dired for a min. of 24 Hrs, before putting into service at elevated temperature.
