Lesson 2: The 21st Century Teacher

A. Activity 1: CERA (50 pts.)

 Make a CERA-format reflection regarding all the things you learned from “The 21st
Century Teacher” (50 points)

You can follow the CERA format below with a minimum of five (5) sentences per
paragraph:
C – Content (The 21st Century Teacher” all about)
E – Experience (can be a personal experience or somebody’s experience you know that
would relate to the content)
R – Reflection (your reflection/realization/learning that would relate to the content)
A – Application (how will you apply your learning that would relate to the content when you
become a licensed professional teacher)

B. SURVEY QUESTIONNAIRE (see yourself as a licensed professional teacher) 100 points.


 Develop a survey questionnaire with at least 10 questions that makes use of a Likert
scale to determine the extent to which a teacher possesses the 21 st century skills. After
which, answer your own survey questionnaire. Use the questionnaire for you to
determine the extent to which you possess the 21 st century skills. The first question is
done for you.

A. INTERVIEW (100 points):


 Interview at least one of the following: PARENT (in public school), LGU or Barangay
Official or anyone in the community with this question: “How did you work together
with the school during this COVID-19 Pandemic?”
 PS: In doing this activity, please observe the health protocols of COVID-19 Pandemic.
After writing and finalizing all his/her answers in the long bond paper, secure his/her
signature below (no need to reveal the name) and send the attached one picture with
you both while on the interview mode as proofs of doing so. Just send the scanned copy
or take the picture of your output for this and send it to our google classroom via
classwork – Weeks 5-6 Activities on or before MARCH 24, 2023 at 5:00 O’CLOCK IN
THE AFTERNOON to avoid deduction of thirty (30) points for every 100 points after the
deadline.

 Research one organization either international, national or local that the school can
enjoy linkages and networking activities in the community for mutual benefit and
assistance needed and answer the data needed below:

Organization, Innovation, And Technology)
 Description / Nature of the Organization: It is the center for training educational leaders from
Southeast region.
 Linkages and Networking Activities with the School/Teachers:
It conducts training programs to upgrade the competencies of teachers from the
region in all disciplines. One of its projects is to update teachers’ knowledge and skills
in implementing alternative learning systems. It has prepared a comprehensive
framework on peace and multi-cultural diversity. The Department of Education – Region
X is one of its recipients where teachers, principals, and supervisors all over Northern
Mindanao can enjoy the benefit of a free International Training from this organization.

CAUTION: DO NOT JUST COPY AND PASTE IDEAS FROM THE INTERNET AND FROM YOUR
CLASSMATES/SCHOOLMATES FOR ALL YOUR OUTPUTS. YOUR INSTRUCTOR HAS A
SOFTWARE/APP IN DETECTING SUCH ACT. IF CAUGHT, YOU WILL BE MARKED ZERO FOR
THIS WHOLE ACTIVITY. REMEMBER THAT YOU ARE A TEACHER IN THE MAKING AND A
GREAT ROLE MODEL TO THE FUTURE HOPE OF THE PROGRESS AND SUCCESS OF OUR
COUNTRY. WE WILL NOT PRODUCE CORRUPT LEADERS. MAKE YOURSELF AN
INSTRUMENT OF OPTIMISTIC CHANGE.

SURNAME, GIVEN NAME – WEEKS 5-6 OUTPUT (e.g. CELIS, JEANALYN – WEEKS 5-6
