the pharmacy’s operation and should be explained by the pharmacy management system.

But, most pharmacies faced problems such as insufficient service promotions, lack of coherence
of pharmacy services in hospitals, poor drug information systems and the inconsistency of the
pharmacy information management due to its manual processes. Now these are the problems
that must be solved with this Pharmacy Management System Project.

By using this system the user/employee can easily register, view the available medicine in the
shop and order it, cancel it through online and the system will generate a bill. And also the
medicine will be deliver form pharmacy shop to employee and payment is through the cash on
delivery. And also, employee can easily visit the shop. Form the admin side he has control all the
system. Admin can insert, update, and delete the medicine details in this application according
to available in the shop. And all the user information is stored in the admin database and monthly
transaction report also be generate by the system.

employee and the pharmacy shop. This application is mainly introduced for the user can
easily view the available medicine and their price through this application and they can
easily order it, cancel it. And from admin side, admin can update the medicine list price
and create a bill. This project is based on java programming language.

In this 21st century, technology forwarded its steps in implementation of global

Information Technology. Every part every sector is going to be technical and this type of
technology help the people save their money and save their valuable time .In the field
of health and medicine, the people has to be easily view the available medicine in shop
and order and cancel it and payment is cash on delivery. This system not only save the
time of employee, it is beneficial for pharmacy shop also because this system can help in
shop advertising also be.

Pharmacy admin can have access to the medicines status and information in terms of the
number sold and remains to identify the inventories of sales and stocks. They can handle
the data needed in managing pharmacy as well as the sales of medicines and customer
records.

Some of the reasons to select this project were as follows:

1. Its allows keeping each and every data of all users, organizer which can be extracted the
required information by anywhere in anytime.
2. It can save the valuable precious time of every user/employee.
3. It can gives to employee to view the medicine list available shop and order it.
4. Tis gives the update about the different medicine available in shop and this update is
controlled by user.
5. This system helps in pharmacy shop in advertising and extends their business.

1.1 Objective
The main objective of this system is to record information of user activities just like as
medicine order, cancel, paying medicine price, medicine information (available on
shop), And employee can firstly create an account and they view the medicine
information which is uploaded, modified ,updated by the admin.

-To give pharmacy information and management.

-To medicine management and give its information.

1
-To monitoring the medicine order from employee.

-To generate respective transaction bill and generate progress report.

1.2 Problem of statement

Most pharmacies faced problems such as insufficient service promotions, lack of
coherence of pharmacy services in hospitals, poor drug information systems and the
inconsistency of the pharmacy information management due to its manual processes.
So, these problems that must be solved with this Pharmacy Management system.

This must be a computer software system that have been programmed to perform the various
tasks required in the operation of a pharmacy. This system will improve the efficiency of the
company and enable for the storing of digital records. It will save an employee time and money
by ordering a medicine through the online and cash on delivery.

2
CHAPTER 2: LITRATURE REVIEW
This is the second chapter in which technical review of the project takes place which mainly
focuses on the techniques and tools used for the developing project. It will focus on the outlook
of existing systems and tries to overcome the lacking of the current system. This chapter helps
to justify the importance of the project, and highlight how different it will be from other similar
systems. Literature reviews are a basis for research in nearly every academic field.

2.1 Existing system

1. All the works done manually.
2. The existing system was using in the pharmacy is a traditional way of managing data.
3. The existing system is less secure.
4. More time consuming for both admin and employee.
5. Employee have to visit to the shop and admin have to make a bill is made in paper.

2.2 Comparative analysis

It refers to the comparative study of management system, procedures and behaviors in different
context which is related to the ongoing project.
1. All the employee information and their transaction with the admin/shop is recorded
digitally.
2. The user/employee can easily view the available medicine in pharmacy and order it and
cancel it.
3. The system can generate a bill itself and generate a monthly report also.
4. Data recovery is possible.
5. And admin can easily update the medicine information in this application.

3
CHAPTER 3: SYSTEM ANALYSIS AND DESIGN
Well, from here the real work begins, development of the proposed system is analyzed
into details. It will analyze the tools and technologies used, data sources and
programming languages used and why. Dataflow diagrams, flowcharts, use-case

3.4 Tools and technique
To implement the project, we are going to follow the waterfall model (output for one is
input for another). It is the first SDLC model to be widely used in Software Engineering
to ensure the success of the project.

The following illustration is a representation of the different phases of the Waterfall Model.

Figure 1: Waterfall Model

Technology is clearly understandable. Our project definition is stable. Since we have well
known, clean and fixed requirements therefore its best suits for the software
development. This model is simple, easy to understand and user friendly. In this model
phases are processed and completed one at a time and the phases don’t overlap.
Waterfall model works well for smaller projects where sequence is very well understood.

CHAPTER 4: EXPECCTED OUTCCOME
Our project may provide integrate knowledge and it analyses, evaluate and manage the
designed project based on java programming language associated with Database
Management System (DBMS). It will provide capacity to perform the designed project
theoretically and practically which is based on GUI interface. And individuals can use
this project easily, quickly, and accurately as it is user friendly, so that required
information can be easily generated. This project facilitates to user to create an account.
User can easily view the medicine details (price, quantity, company) available in the
pharmacy shop and order and cancel it. And also the system can generate the bill also
so, user can easily views their bill. And payment is cash in hand in during delivery.

And admin can control the all the system .just like as update security, customer
information handle, update the medicine details in the system. It not only helps in easy
and save the time of both user and admin. This system can help the pharmacy shop in
advertising and business expand. In the coming year, this system will be apply in all
sports and stadium.

CHAPTER 5: CONCCLUSION
On the basis of development of this project, it was found that the project gives appropriate
easy way to user for viewing the medicine available in the shop and also see the medicine
details. And user can easily order the medicine and cancel also. This system can generate a
bill and monthly progress report. And this system gives the details about the user and
pharmacy shop. The main motive to design this project is to make the pharmacy
management system more technical and easy for the public. Its system works through the
online. With regards to this, we the project team members would like to express a true
