Active Passive

Simple present (v1/ don’t , Obj + is /are /am +V3


doesn’t ) English is spoken.
She speaks English. English isn’t spoken.
She doesn’t speak English.

Simple past (V2 /didn’t ) Obj + was /were + V3


She spoke English. English was spoken.
She didn’t speak English. English wasn’t spoken.
Present continuous Obj + is /are/ am+ being +V3
She is speaking English. English is being spoken.
Past continuous Obj+ was /were + being+ V3
She was speaking English. English was being spoken.
Present perfect Obj + has/ have +been + V3
She has spoken English. English has been spoken.
Past perfect Obj+ had +been + V3
She had spoken English. English had been spoken.
Modals Obj + modal +be +V3
She can speak English. English can be spoken.
She will speak English. English will be spoken.
Be+ Going to+ verb (base) Obj +is/are /am +going to +be +V3
She is going to speak English. English is going to be spoken.
