EDUCATION
TECHNICAL SKILLS
Project Profile:
Project : 5G core Develepement ,
Client : Ericssion
Technology LINUX/C/C++ AWS
I am involved in 5g core , Ericssion has deployed devicees to create infrastructure of 5G in
some of the Northmaerica and Eourpian countries. I involved in AMF,SMF, PCF,NRF .
The RLC is part of Layer 2, and RLC sub layer is responsible for handling of data stream
coming from RRC, MAC, PDCP and BMC. It provides unacknowledged mode, acknowledged
mode, transparent mode transfer mode service to lower layer. The interface to RRC, BMC, and
PDCP sub layer is through service access point (AM, UM, and TM) and interface to MAC layer
through logical channel. RLC is mainly responsible for segmentation, concatenation, padding,
flow control, ciphering, and error correction.
Responsibilities:

The MAC is part of Layer 2, and MAC sub layer is responsible for handling of data stream
coming from RLC, RRC and physical layer, it provides an unacknowledged mode,
acknowledged mode, transparent mode transfer mode service to upper layer. The interface to
RLC sub layer is through logical channel service access point and interface to physical layer
through transport channel.
It also reallocates radio resources on requested by RRC sub layer as well as provides
measurements to upper layer. The logical channel is divided in to control and traffic channels
and transport channel is divided in to dedicate and common transport channel. Through RRC,
MAC got information of data. And through RLC, and MAC got actual data and put header as per
RRC information and send to physical layer in uplink and in case of downlink MAC got data from
physical layer and after removing header as per RRC information and send that data to RLC.
And as per release 5 inside MAC one more entity is introducing MAC-HS, this entity is
belonging to high-speed data download. This entity is only in case of downlink at UE side.
Responsibilities:
Analysed specifications for MAC subs layer (3GPP TS 25.321) Release 9 specifications.
Prepared requirement specification document for module.
Documented high level design and low-level design.
Prepared test plan, implemented test stub and performed coding the feature.
Tested feature using test stubs.
Environment: Linux, C, C++, GDB (Debugging), Make File, and KDevelop.
