Learning and Development Needs Assessment Plan
In line with the implementation of Republic Act No. 10533, or the Enhanced Basic Education Act of 2013, the
Department of Education (DepEd) issues policy on the conduct of Learning Action Cell (LAC) as a K to 12 Basic
Education Program School-Based Continuing Professional Development Strategy for the Improvement of Teaching and
Learning which aims to help improve teacher practice and learner achievement.
S.A.M.R is a model designed to help educators infuse technology into the teaching and learning process. This
model supports and enables teachers to design, develop, and infuse digital learning experiences that utilize technology.
Cabuyao Central School, besides focusing on learners’ academic advancement, values their safety and that of
the school personnel. Through this, SAMR will be used and integrated in ICT for teaching and learning process. Where in
the teachers need to both create tasks that target the higher-order cognitive skills (Bloom) as well as design tasks that
have significant impact on the learners’ outcomes. In order to achieve the goal of transforming learning experiences so
they result in higher levels of achievements for learners.
On this light, CCS will conduct a School-Based Training Program on the application of teaching with technology
using S.A.M.R Model to create effective teaching learning strategy.
LDNA Objective/s:
Generally, this LDNA aims to demonstrate the salient points of use of Substitution, Augmentation, Modification, and
Redefinition (SAMR) SY 2022-2023 to gain and showcase the commitment in practicing the expected competencies of a
Highly Proficient Teacher and Proficient Teacher by increasing their levels of knowledge, enrich teaching practice and
professional engagement for teaching-learning process of the learners’ development.
