Description:
A real-life project is to be done by every student working in a group. The project should be done in
small, medium, or large sized organizations like retail store, healthcare unit, shopping arcade, logistics
units, dairy firms, greenhouses, automobile units etc. which are available in the nearby locality.
The mini project will provide a real-life exposure on how manufacturing or service units run different
supply chain activities at their basic level. Also, it will result in better understanding the concepts and
current issues of supply chain management that are being discussed during the classroom sessions.
The areas selected can be Environmental issues in supply chain, technology and supply chain
management, distribution network, managing uncertainty in supply chain, supply chain collaboration,
sourcing in supply chain management.
Students need to identify and study supply chain related issues and suggest measures/strategies to
overcome those issues.
Interim report (study based on Secondary data) to be submitted before mid of the semester.

Soft/ hard copy of literature review
Group presentation
Weightage: 50%
Final report to be submitted (study based on Primary data) after mid semester:
• Data collection and analysis
