04/03/2022 A webinar on ““Entrepreneur – Charms of being an Entrepreneur” is organized
by the KEC- Institute Innovation Cell, NewGen IEDC and Dept of ECE for the students to
provide basic insights on entrepreneurship, who is an entrepreneur and perks of being an
entrepreneur. The resource person has explained the difference between an entrepreneur and
startups, the difference between Employment and Entrepreneur. The concept of why some
one wishes to become an entrepreneur, innovation quotient. At the end of the session a few
startups which are guided by the AIC- SKU and their successful journey was shown as an
inspiring aspect for the students.

03-12-2021 Seminar Report on “Career Opportunities in Electronics”
The resource person Mr N. Kiran Kumar, (Chief Protocol Engineer) has stressed on the
opportunities after graduation, Most In-Demand skills in industry, Importance of soft skills
and ethics and Resume preparation. He has explained the students about various fields in
which the students can excel after the graduation. The importance of certification and
becoming the master in a particular chosen domain. He motivated the students to for pursuing
the career in demand skills of industry (Block chain, Machine learning, UX design, RPA,
Edge and quantum computing Etc.).
Our Kuppam Engineering College students attended a webinar on " India
FirstLeadership Talk on ART OF DECISION MAKING “with Shri AjitDoval Ji,
NationalSecurity Advisor, Government of India" conductedby@mhrd_innovation on
19thMarch 2019.
Fusteps technology Mr.Chakravarthy senior consultant and Umakant visited to
ourcollege on 14th March 2019 addressed final year students and interested
studentsto become entrepreneur on future technologies leading to successful
enterprises
Organized a workshop on "Intellectual Property Rights" on 10th January 2019 in
Prototype to Product Development’was conducted on 29th September, 2018.The resource person
Mr. Satish Kumar & team, CEO, AIC-SKU Confederation, ATAL Innovation Mission, Govt. of India,gave
an inspiration speech and explained the different stages in product development and methods to
promote the products to the market. The students of third year &final year ECE attended the
program and highly initiated towards the idea on how to become a successful entrepreneur
A Seminar on ‘Product Development Life Cycle and Sustainability’ was conducted on 20th
September, 2018. Mr.MohamadAnif from Venture Control and Automation, Bangalore. The students
of final year ECE attended the seminar
A three days workshop on ‘Product development using IoT’was conducted to the final year students
from 5th to8thSeptember, 2018.Mr. Naveen, Application manager and his team,Edgate Technology,
Bangalore handled the session.
A workshop on LABVIEW was arranged for the final year students of the Department
ECE & EEE. Ms. Poojitha, Technical Trainer, Labview, Bangalore handled the session
and all the final year studentsof both department attended the workshop. The
students learned the simulation procedure which was very useful for them forcarrying
out their project work using Labview software
Dr. Thipeswamy, professor and Head of the Department, BMSIT Bangalore addressed
our final year students on 18th July, 2018on ‘Innovation and challenges for engineering
students to become a successful Entrepreneur’
