CN Lab 3

The document describes an experiment on basic Cisco router configuration. The objective was to get familiar with routers and how to connect and configure one. The experiment involved several tasks: setting a password on the router using CLI; setting enable and enable secret passwords; setting banners for login and messages of the day; and setting the router's clock. Comparing commands between routers and switches showed similarities like setting the hostname, banners, passwords and displaying the running configuration but routers also had commands for configuration mode. The conclusion stated the key lessons about router administration, configuration and password encryption.
