    FUSE AND FUSE HOLDER

    The purpose of the V-Guard gPV fuse family is to protect photovoltaic


    modules, strings, or arrays, and the cables that link them, against reverse
    over-current and short circuits and to reduce safety risks. The failed PV
    string will be isolated by the PV fuse and fuse holder, allowing the rest of
    the PV system to continue producing power.

    PHOTOVOLTAIC FUSE :
    V-Guard offers PV cylindrical fuses of size 10 mm x 38 FEATURES :

    For the safe disconnecting and security of solar systems, STANDARD COMPLIANCE :
    from modest installations to massive PV farms, V guard
    provides a photovoltaic fuse holder. It is perfect for • IEC 60269-2-1
    separating solar module strings for maintenance even if it
    is not intended for load breaking. It has been developed
    for direct current voltages of up to 1000VDC. It can
    accommodate gPV 10 mm x 38 mm cylindrical fuses of
    32A.
