REGALIA 2023 - RULES AND REGULATI0NS F0R 0N STAGE & 0FF STAGE EVENTS
GROUP DANCE – R1
 Maximum no of participants 8 per team, Minimum 5 participants
 2 team per college
 Duration – 4 minutes maximum (trim the music as per time duration).
 Costumes included in the judgment criteria.
 Participants are allowed to use props. (fire, crackers are not allowed)
 Participant who performed offstage the same has to perform on stage
 Bring your own music (only in Pen drive ) handover to the organizing team
before 30mints of the event commencement .
ADAPT TUNE - R2
 It is an individual event, 2 participants per college
 Duration – 3minutes, Music or song will be played on the spot.
SOLO DANCE – R3
 It is an individual event.
 Duration- maximum 4 minutes
 Costumes included in the judgment criteria.
 Vulgarity and obscenity will lead to disqualification
 Bring your own music ( only in Pen drive )
 Report and Handover the performing music before 30mints to the organizing team.
.SOLO SINGING - R4
 Duration – maximum 3 minutes.
 It is an individual event, 2 Participants per college
 Bring your own karaoke ( only in Pen drive )

BAND – R5
 One band Per college
 Participants should bring their own instruments.
 Report before 30mints to the organizing team
 Duration – maximum 12 minutes.
 Judging will be done on the basis of – clarity of notes, rhythm, composition &
innovation
FASHION PAGEANT- R6
 Talent round (Duration – 3minutes), Ramp Walk round and Questionnaire round
 Vulgarity in any manner will lead to disqualification.
 Costume must be decent
REELS - R7
 Maximum 3 participants per team
 Duration – 4 minutes maximum (trim the video as per time duration).
 Vulgarity, obscenity , copied content are not allowed
 Avoid hurtful content
 Language Tamil or English, Video quality minimum 1080p, Mp4
 Bring your own Pen drive
 All the team members should be present on the day.
SHORT FILM –R8
 THEME –Friendship / Social responsibility for youth
 Duration – 3 minutes ( lens ) and 30 seconds for credits
 Maximum no of participants 3 per team (DIRECTOR / DOP / PRODUCER ) artists
are not included in the team
 No adult content, Vulgarity, obscenity , copied content are not allowed
 Should not imitate Actor or actress / Politics or Politicians / Religious
comparison
 All the team members should be present on the day.
 Language Tamil or English, Video quality minimum 1080p, Mp4
 Bring your own Pen drive
 Short film should reach the event organizers before 27.02.2023
GROOM / BRIDE MAKEOVER - R9
 Two participants per team
 Participants should bring their own materials.
 Vulgarity, obscenity , are not allowed
 Photos will be taken before and after makeup
 Costume included in the judgment criteria
 Duration – 60 minutes
 For Bride makeover only girls, for Groom makeover only boys
RANGOLI - R10
 2 teams per college,It is an individual event.
 Participants should bring their own materials.Only color powder can be used.
 Theme will be given on the spot,Duration - 60 minutes.

WEALTH OUTOFF WASTE - R11
 Two participants per team,1 team per college
 Duration – 60 minutes.
FACIAL PAINTING - R12
 Two participants per team,2 team per college
 Theme will be given on the spot
 Duration – 60 minutes.
GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS FOR SNMV REGALIA 2023
1. Free Registration for all participants
2. Judges decision is final, Scorecards will not be revealed
3. Registration on First come, first serve basis. Registration starts from 8.15am on
the day and Registration counter will be closed by 10.15am.
4. Late comers will not be entertained.
5. Winners will be awarded with attractive cash prize.
6. Participants are responsible for their time clash.
7. In the absence of already registered participants substitutes may not be permitted.
8. Prelims will be conducted for all on stage events.
9. Participants are requested to take their lot No’s ½ an hour before the commencement of
the event as per the schedule.
10. Vulgarity and obscenity will lead to disqualification.
11. Fire dance and snake dance are strictly not allowed.
12. Participants have to show their respective id card when ever asked for verification.
13. Participants are responsible for their own belongings.
14. Organizers have right to take any decision regarding events.
15. Unruly behavior, use of any offensive language or gestures will lead to disqualification.
16. Smoking and use of alcohol inside the college campus are strictly prohibited.
17. No damage should be caused to the college premises. Severe action will be taken against
defaulters.
18. The confirm list of the participants must reach the college on or before 24.2.2023.
19. If accommodation is needed prior information is required
20. Certificate will be provided to the participants
