1 Purpose

The purpose of organizational training is to develop skills and knowledge of employees so that
they can perform their roles effectively and efficiently.

5 Process Description

5.1 Entry Criteria


● Start of the financial year and updated as required

5.2 Inputs
● Training Requirement Submitted by PMs, SMs or Management
● Training Requirement needed by any specific project
● Training Requirement from employees of the company

5.3 Activities
5.3.1 Identify Training Requirement (Need)
The purpose of training is to identify performance requirements and the knowledge,
skills, and abilities needed by organization to achieve the organization objectives. The
assessment should address resources needed to fulfill organizational mission, improve
productivity, and provide quality products and services.

In case there is new requirement proposed by Project Manager or process owners in the
middle/anytime during financial year, TRAINING PLAN or Schedule would get updated
accordingly.

5.3.2 Plan Training (Tentative time in-house or external)


The Training plan will outline type of training and who/how the training will be delivered
e.g. delivered by External [paid training], Vendor organize training or training delivered
by in-house team. We treat the training plan as a working document. It is flexible
enough to meet all our needs.

5.3.3 Selection Criteria of Trainer


The training plan has two types of training which is being conducted at Dreamline i.e.
● Internal Training – these trainings are being conducted by internal team
members; trainer would be selected on basis their capability in respective
subject which is subject certification/training or overall experience (minimum
relevant exp required 3+ years). Like, if person is not having any certificate but
relevant exp is more than 3 Years would be eligible for trainer).

● External Training – these trainings are being conducted by third party being paid
by Dreamline; vendor[s] are informed to share trainer skills/experience basis
which he/she would deliver training at Dreamline.

5.3.4 Prepare for Training


The training notification is sent in advance to all training participants with date, time &
place and request for confirmation of the same (in case of external training only).
Reminder notification is sent to all participants, if required. Reconfirmation with trainer
on availability also to be done in case of external training[s].

5.3.4 Conduct Training


For conducting training following resources are required
● Detailed Plan
● Trainee
● Trainer
● Material, if needed
● Infrastructure

5.3.5 Maintain Training Record
For maintain training record we use following artifacts:
● Attendance Sheet

5.3.6 Evaluate Training


● Exam or
● Feedback

5.4 Verification
Training consists of in-house training, seminars or workshops designed to help establish
organizational excellence in every area of a business. Feedback is collected as and when
required.

5.6 Exit Criteria


● All training as planned has been conducted or financial year completed.
