2. Where changed
This firmware is released for the following purpose.
[Note] This ROM does not include Countermeasure for Developing screw mark.
Special ROM based on this ROM includes this item. [DLBT1611476EN]

2.1. Newly added function/change of specifications

1) Hide "File name" of "Output History" list.
If DIPSW 61-3 is ON, "File name" of "Output History" is displayed as "********". (Eight consecutive asterisk)
DIPSW 61-3 = 0: Disable (Default)
= 1: Enable
*This implementation is the same as "Secure print".
*Regardless of output method (SafeQ or normal output),"File name" of "Output History" is hidden.
*This customization is implemented only for "File name" of "Output History" in [Job List] on operation panel and the
followings are not included.
- "Output History" in [Controller]
- "WebUtilities"
- "PSWC"

2) If DIPSW 55-7 is ON, Proof copy function can be enabled when [Separate Scan] is set in [Original Setting] of Copy
screen.
DIPSW 55-7 = 0: Disable (Default)
= 1: Enable
The processing
1. On [Hold Setting], select [Hold + Print] or [Hold], then press [OK].
2. Press [Separate Scan]
3. Load the original on platen glass or RADF and load the next original, then press [Start].
Repeat step from 4 to 5 for all originals to be scanned.
4. After all originals are scanned, press [separate scan] to deselect the key.
5. Press [Proof copy] on control panel, then Proof copy starts.
* Only when you set [Hold + Print] or [Hold] in [Hold Setting], this customization is available.
* If you select [Print], the message "Proof copy is Unavailable" will be displayed.

3) If DIPSW 61-5 is ON, when you use OpenAPI STA Type-D by applications (e.g. SafeQ), you can specify the default
value of Back.Removal in the following settings at engine side.
DIPSW 61-5 = 0: Disable (Default)
= 1: Enable
*Engine side "Back. Removal" setting

* You can not specify the value of Back.Removal from applications (e.g. SafeQ).

4) If DIPSW 61-1 is ON, the job which is set 4 Repeat from Printgroove will be printed as the following.
- The center of each image is not the center of the paper, but it becomes the center of each divided 4 print areas.
- The vertical and horizontal interval of images can be set by shift setting.
DIPSW 61-1 = 0: Disabled [Default]
= 1: Enabled
5) Support for count of C4 envelope size as Large count.
The edge length of "Main scan direction" OR "Sub scan direction", whichever is over the border size (=298mm), it is
counted as "Large".
(It is possible to count "Large count" regardless of feed direction of C4 envelope.)
* DIPSW setting is not required.

6) In the case of receiving the job which contains PS error, the machine will display error messages at the time of output.
The DIP switch and the new menu are as below:
DIPSW 62-4: = 1: Enabled
= 0: Disabled [Default]
*You need to enable a function of PS Error Print.
Controller > 02 Direct Print Settings > 03 PS Setting > PS Error Print: ON

7) If DIPSW 43-3 is ON and Paper Profile is set to Paper Setting of the following trays, Auto Detect Size of the trays
becomes disable. If Reset button is pushed in Paper Setting of the trays and Paper Profile is released from Paper
Setting of Bypass, Auto Detect Size of the trays becomes re-enable.

- Trays of Paper Feeder Unit PF-602
- Tray of Multi-Sheet Bypass Tray MB-504
- Tray of Post Inserter PI-502
DIPSW 43-4 = 0: Disable (Default)
= 1: Enable

8) If the user sets DIPSW 63-2=1, the special FW support for [STOP] hard key button on the [Hold Job] panel.
DIPSW 63-2 =1: Enabled
=0: Disabled [Default]
- By changing DIPSW, JOB STOP is effective in all screen.
- Even the screen that [STOP] hard key button was effective from the past, if the user presses [STOP] hard key button
and printing job and scanner job were working, both of jobs are stopped.
(Usually, when the user presses [STOP] hard key button on scan screen, scanner job is stopped but printing job is not
stopped.)
- If the user presses [STOP] hard key button on the [Hold Job] panel, POP-UP appears and the user needs to change
the screen to [MACHINE] screen.
- If the user presses [STOP] hard key button on the [Job Ticket] of [Hold Job] panel, POP-UP does not appear and the
user needs to change the screen to [MACHINE] screen.

9) In JobTicket screen, when Paper profile is specified, Profile No and Profile name is displayed.
Profile No.: max 3 byte
Profile Name: max 15 byte

10) If a blank page is detected in printing, the blank page is not BK count.
The page combined "blank page" and "Not blank page" is BK counted.
The feature can be enabled with the following software switch setting.
DIPSW 63-5 = 0: Disable (Default)
= 1: Enable

11) If DIPSW 61-1 is ON, job setting is changed to simplex when single page job output with duplex setting on the printer
driver.
DIPSW 61-1 = 0: Disable (Default)
= 1: Enable
* When setting duplex, the paper path is duplex even if it is single page job, therefore the productivity is less than
simplex path. User print with duplex setting even single page job unconsciously because IC-602 printer driver,
duplex setting is default.
* This function works at outputting job from printer driver. When a spooled single page job print with duplex, the job
would be duplex path even if DIPSW 61-0 is ON.

12) The Uncoated paper is added to the corresponding paper of RU-516

DIPSW 61-2 = 0; OFF (Default)
61-2 = 1; ON
When changing the DIPSW, the button configuration is changed.
Before: ON (Coated paper), ON (Uncoated paper), Manual, OFF * ON (Uncoated paper) is for Matte paper.
After: ON, Manual, OFF

13) On reversing exit mode, in order to reduce the FD wrinkle occurring around the reverse de-curler roller, "Back on Top
Output Timing Adj." is added on process adjustment screen.Paper tends to occur is high quality paper 62-80g/m2.
The way to adjust: enter "4" at first, but when nothing changed, increasing the input number one by one.
If the input number is too large, it may cause JAM.

14) The RU-516 disconnected status by the DIPSW35-6(Faulty part isolation: RU-516) is reflected to the operation panel.
a. Gray out Output Paper Separation Setting in the Process Adjustment.
b. On the Paper Setting screen, the items related to the separation settings are shown but the set value
is hidden.
- The window for the offset value is shown but the value is hidden.
- Items on the pull-down list for the mouse operation are grayout.

15) SD-513, maximum number of sheets for saddle stitch has been changed.

DipSW 60-3=1 40 sheets
[New]
DipSW 60-3=0 50 sheets (Default value for EU spec)
DipSW 60-3=1 35 sheets (Default value for all except EU spec)

2.2. Problem modification item

1) Without Punch Kit PK-522, Machine shows Punch function is available on the screen and printer driver.

2) When printing using Bypass feed and Post Inserter to insert front and back covers.
The machine will do the first set with 2 staples but the next number of sets stack in the finisher not stapled.

3) In case that multiple jobs are outputted by the following order, the color of No.3 print job is different from that of No.1
print job because the color conversion table between print job and copy job is not switched correctly.
1. A print job by PCL driver
2. A copy job
3. A print job by PCL driver (same job as No.1)

4) During duplex print, C-4840 may occur when the RU color density control is automatically inserted in specific prints
interval.

5) Account Track information was not notified to the user authentication application. (Problem of Common API)
Be sure to update IC-602 FW.

6) On All Dev. Unit Replace Adj. Developer counter abnormality was revised on condition that two or three kinds of
developers is exchanged at the same time.

7) When the system includes SD-506 or SD-513, restart after jam clearance was impossible occasionally.

8) On IC-308/IC-310 v2.1, Booklet cover is not creased with SD-513 and PB-503.
The settings on the Fiery are active but the creaser does not perform the function.

9) When the configuration includes SD-513 and PB-503, the image position of the perfect binding cover may become
incorrect occasionally.

10) When the system includes PB-503 and SD-513, the 1 side and the 2 side of the cover page were replaced with
each other.

11) When the SD-506 is connected, Trimming Adjustment is missing.

[Trimming Adjustment] is replaced with [2-Side slit finishing Adj.] in the [Saddle Stitcher Adjustment]
[Machine] tab => [Adjustment] => [Finisher Adjustment] => [Saddle Stitcher Adjustment]

12) When the hold job is edited from the JobCentro, C-4850 may occur.(CSES ID: ERBJOS1600871844)

13) [CSRA] When the comma (,) included text string are registered for the [Paper Name], [Paper Color] or/and [Color
paper name] in the Paper Setting, CSRA cannot recognize it correctly.

14) [CSRA] WebDavServer/Proxy Server DNS name input was not supported.
[Remark] When F/W is updated to Ver.25, Registered IP address for WebDAV server is deleted. After F/W is updated,
IP address for WebDAV server or DNS name must be input and turned off and on the sub power switch.

15) [SATool] DIPSW 61 to 64 added from Ver.20 cannot be retrieved from the SATool.

4. Programs to be applied at the same time

This mass production ROM (I:G00-25, C:G00-25, W:G00-25) is necessary to apply at the same time.
KMI recommends to use the latest combination mentioned in the "6. Latest program combinations".

5. How to install
5.1. How to update the firmware
Please update using USB-ISW. For the details, please refer to the Service Manual.

5.2. How to check version

You can check the firmware version in Service mode => 08 Firmware Version => 01 Firmware Version.
Please refer to the Service Manual for the detailed procedure.
For the program version indicated on the operation panel, please refer to the "6. Latest program combinations".
