    Awarding Ceremony

    Barangay Lasip Summer Basketball League

    I. Greetings

    Good evening ladies and gentlemen. After almost 2 months of long battle of the fittest, strongest
    and mightiest athletes in the field of basketball, we came out victorious because tonight is the night that
    we are all waiting for. Wherein we will be witnessing he awarding ceremony that will recognition to all
    outstanding players in different categories in our beloved barangay Lasip .

    Tonight then is a long revelry of joy and simple but a very memorable and meaningful celebration for all
    of us especially to all the players. This is a sign that once again, we will be on our old self and be proud of
    our achievement. Kaya naman talagang deserve niyo po ang magkaroon ng awarding ceremony na
    ganito. Hindi Madali ang larong basketball. It is a contact and physical sport that needs mental,
    emotional, social or shall I say, it needs a holistic approach. That’s why I salute all the players, coaches
    and even the supporters from different teams. You deserve a clap for this. Palakpakan naman po natin
    sila. This is the fruit of your labors.

    II. Doxology

    On this note, I am inviting everyone to please rise as a sign of respect as we give reverence to
    our LORD I prayer to be led by Ms. Rosalyn Grecia and to be followed by the singing of our Philippine
    National Anthem through an Audio Presentation.

    III. Opening Remarks.

    You may now all be seated. To formally open this event and welcome each of us tonight, Let us
    all welcome our debonair Sangguniang kabataan Chairperson, Hon. Judy Ann Elemia. A round of
    applause please.

    Thank you, SK, for those eloquent words that definitely inspires other individuals to continue their
    dreams and journey in the field of BASKETBALL.

    IV. This time, let us hear the words of wisdom from the father of this barangay. A highly respected leader
    of our barangay. Our honorable Brgy. Captain, Marlon Viray. Let’s give him a round of applause.

    V. Guest of Honor and Speaker

    And now, before we proceed to our Awarding Ceremony, I am so pleased to be with you tonight
    and to have the chance to introduce our guest of honor and speaker. She is a very respected individual in
    this barangay and she loves serving God and serving the people of barangay Lasip in the best way she
    can. She is a Pastor in God’s Amazing love Christian Ministries, Incorporated. Finally, she is also just a
    fascinating person and we’re all in for a treat tonight because we will be able to hear inspirational
    message from her. Without further a do, please join me in welcoming our Speaker for tonight, Ps. Maria
    Teresa C. Francisco.

    Once again, let us give a round of applause to our speaker. It was indeed a very inspirational and
    motivational message for all of us.

    At this juncture, we are now halfway on tonight’s climax. But for this moment, alam ko na ang
    bawat grupo ay may nakahandang mga naggagandahang mga binibini para irepresenta ang kanilang
    team.

    So, we’re now done with our 1st part of the event, so for the second part of this momentous event, May I
    call in Ms. Jessica Barboza to take over for the Search of the best muse 2023.

    VIII. Awarding

    At this juncture, I know everyone is so excited to be recognized and receive their certicates or
    trophies. So, just enjoy this night as I announce the first batch of awardees.

    But before that, gusto din nating i-appreciate ang lahat ng mga grupo na nakiisa at nakilahok sa ating
    paliga sa barangay. Kung wala kayo, hindi magiging matagumpay ang ligan a ito. So, palakpakan po natin
    sila.

    IX. Mythical Five

    According to my research, the Philippine basketball association mythical team is an honor given
    to the best players in each of the five basketball positions.

    This year, we will be recognizing our mythical five who layed vital role in every game. They were judged
    accordingly based on the criteria set by the committee.

    Lao tzu once said, A leader is best when people barely know he exists, when his work is done, his
    aim fulfilled, they will say “ we did it ourselves”. A great leader would always work on ways to inspire
    members to do great jobs as well.
