include those that are biological, cognitive, behavioral, and psychological.
Multiple studies have shown a relation between health-related stress, social activities, and
students' academic performance, it was important to pinpoint stress and the main stressors
that are now influencing it. This study aims to better understand how stress affects
students in senior high school in terms of their academic performance. Stress recognition
by students is another observational finding.
Stress and motivation are two characteristics that have an impact on academic
performance. It is a crucial component for seniors in high school as they prepare for
college and because improved academic achievement opens up more chances later in life.
The study used a descriptive-correlational methodology to examine how stress and
motivation affect students' academic performance.
Academic performance is affected by several factors, whether internal or external (Bello
& Gumarao, 2016). Stress is one of the factors that affect the academic performance of
students. A study conducted by Crego et al. (2016) stated that academic stress might
compromise students' performance. Another study conducted by Kötter et al. (2017)
mentioned that increased stress leads to decreasing performance, increasing stress. With
this, stress is revealed to have a significant relationship with academic performance.
The goal of the study is to ascertain the effects of this stress on these students' academic
performance. The study also sought to identify the typical student stress levels, and the
results revealed that senior high school students frequently experience significant levels of
stress.

the students.

affect their children. Parents who are aware of the potential for depression can assist in
preventing and avoiding their children's depression.
