● Gooms

○ Plyggoo “Variety Pink”

■ The intelligence variant. Decision makers, managers. Considered the only goom capable of warfare and therefore are the
only gooms seen on the battlefield. Each Plyggoo Goom is capable of low level psyonics.

○ Cwyggoo “Variety Cow”

■ Mottled with occasional hairs, most fit and content with laborious tasks and avoiding warfare. They lack the psyionic
abilities of their Plyggoo cousins but make up for it in their brute strength.

○ Glyggoo “Variety Grey” (Slaggoorraatt cloned servants)

 ■ A special variety of silent, thoughtless clones who are savants at operating Slaggoorraatt designed technologies.

● Goomified
○ Sogs
■ Unfortunately, not much is known about goomified sogs as they’re all held prisoner in the Hyglloonnaattii camp in north
Thraass territory in the Goom Empire. We’ve only found the remains of two goomified sogs hardened beyond recognition.

○ Kittums
■ Hardened Kittums pose one of the largest threats to soft kind. Kittens are already proficient in their sonar abilities.
Defectors to Kittum government run across the border to the Goom Empire to be experimented on and enhanced like
supersoldiers. They are then deployed in their own unit with enhanced sonar capabilities.
● Goplars
○ Chrono-Nomadic Goplars
■ Travel the universe aimlessly (or with an unexplained purpose) and occasionally land on earth. They are tracked and
classified using the Glung notation. Archeological evidence suggests that the first sporadic visits to the continent
were made as far back as 400 thousand years ago.

○ Chrono-Stationary Goplars
■ Goplars that have chosen to make their homes on our planet and timeline, and have integrated into soft society. They
often find their niche as shamans or medicine men and are considered the traditionalists of Goplar society. Some
paleontologists theorize that they are the ancestor of all soft races.

● Sogs
○ Borzois
■ The smartest sogs of the Soft Alliance and considered the ruling class. They are descendants of Goplars and Perzois but
by most were only considered full borzois after the invention and implementation of the Autobeekr into their race’s
 physiology. The Autobeekr stands as their largest contribution to the Soft Alliance.

○ Silken
■ Closely related to the Borzois, they are a small tribe that branched away from the Perzois and have a robust kingdom
that still has sovereignty till this day. While still an independent nation, the silkens work very closely with the Soft
Alliance, who they consider their closest ally.

○ Hurrs
 ■ The most elusive members of the sog species, they speak in a language of only consonants and live the southernmost 3
counties of the S.A. They are a nomadic people credited with the invention of modern mathematics.

○ Hogars
■ Residents of the Hogar Forest, they are a tribe of sogs remembered for their battles against the Perzois when they
defended their territory from forceful annex. When the Soft Alliance was founded, they were allowed to continue the
ownership of their sacred homeland.
○ Perzois
■ The wise elders of the S.A. and the 2nd oldest dog on the Soft Continent. They evolved from the common ancestor of the
Goplar. They were fierce warriors but their numbers are in decline as of late.

○ Snogs
 ■ Sogs that are native to the northernmost counties of the S.A. and are especially adapted to the tundra. They live in
counties most often invaded by the neighboring Gooms.

○ Shogs
■ Considered the naturally softest sogs in the sog species, they have very long hair that comes down from their heads and
long, silky fur. They once lived where the Goom Empire currently reigns but were forced out of their homelands centuries
ago. Lord Shog, the creator of the first autobeekr nearly 1000 years ago, was a Shog, and has given his name to the
 species.

○ Oogi
■ The Oogi Tribe live along the river banks of the Oogi River in Oogi County, S.A. They are deeply spiritual and religious
and are relatives of the Borzoi.

● Gogs
 ○ Greater Gogs
■ In a species of their own, they evolved from an ancestor above the shared ancestor of the Perzoi and Goplar. They are
harder and primitive dogs who arrange themselves in tribes. They lack enough fur to make them soft like their Sog
neighbors. The most notable of these is the Tribe of Woungies Bog. They follow the teachings of the Woungies Bog, who is
believed to reincarnate continuously, and exerts considerable power in local territories.

○ Lesser Gogs
■ A smaller variety of gogs who evolved the same as the greater gogs but are much smaller in stature. They live in small
farming villages along the north coast of the Soft Alliance and occasionally gather for a traditional festival known as
“ah lagagwey”.

● Thogs
 ■ Strong brutes who live a tribal life in the sovereign nation of Thogland. They are largely absent from wars and create
enough resources to support only themselves.

● Whoplars
○ Corgish
■ Extremely intelligent race of Whoplars who evolved from Goplars. They are a small subsection of the Whoplar race and are
responsible for many plar technological advancements.

○ Whipplish
 ■ The common Whoplar. They are extremely agile and intelligent but lack the time traveling capabilities of their ancestor,
the Goplar. They are closer alike to the Goplar than their Corgish brothers but they are all Whoplars nonetheless.

● [Oriental] Katzen
○ Splingos
■ Highest members of their caste system.

○ Scoinguses
 ■ Just beneath Splingos in the caste system. Very closely related.

○ Donglers
 ■ Adopted into Katzen society much later than the Scoingus and Splingo subraces.

● Floppas
○ Floppaslavi
■ Occupants of the desert area above the Soft Alliance and much larger in stature than their Floppastani neighbors. They
fought alongside the Borzois in the 2nd War of Dogs and Cats against their natural enemy, the Gooms.

○ Floppastani
 ■ Religious extremists and much smaller than their Floppaslavi cousins. They largely isolate themselves from the world on
grassy steppes and stay away from conflict except with the Gooms.

○ [Extinct] Floppazilli
■ Not much is known about FLoppazilli culture. We know that they were much different than the stani or slavi Floppa
subraces. After their nation was bombed by a nuclear blast they were never seen nor heard from again.

● Kittums
○ Flat-nose
■ The most intelligent of the Kittum kingdom, they represent the aristocrat and political faction.

○ Round-nose
 ■ The most common Kittum, they represent the working class average kittum who makes the kittum society function. Without
the Round-nose folks they would not have survived the countless wars.

○ Sharp-nose
■ Only in the last two centuries have we seen a movement for the Sharp-nose kittens to differentiate themselves from the
Round-nose variety but they cite religious differences as their reason.

● Bulgus (Manuls)
○ The Order of Eberrone, ancestor Bulgus
 ■ The order of Eberrone is stronger in military force than their Paulas cousins. They are also the larger nation that
holds more political influence in the feline-canid political sphere. They are incredibly religiously motivated creatures
learning their god-ancestor’s name before their own in childhood.

○ The Order of Paulas, mother Manul

■ From the Island of Paulas, this offshoot of the Bulgus Order lives on an island off the coast of the Bulgus territory
and revere a different god-king as their ancestor.

● Plinknas
○ Brown-Coat
■ Warriors who live in the small micronation of Plinkton.

○ Shadow-Coat
 ■ A tribe of plinknas who are in direct competition for political dominance and resources with the brown-coats.

● Softened Gooms
■ Miracles of soft science, they are gooms who have defected from Slaggoorraatt’s evil reign and experimented in a
revolutionary softening experiment. They retained a lot of their Goomish culture without the incessant blaming of Sogs
for their unfortunate cultural fate.
