(iv) Brief facts leading to the appeal:-

Aggrieved by the non furnishing of information. The appellant has no


other option except to approach the first Appellant authority.

1) In fact the PIO has not provided the details and action taken report against
the complaint registered dated 22-10-2023 by Afzaluddin Faroqui. The waqf
land of Masjid E Kalan(Masjid E kulsumpura) is under encroachment by
unsocial elements by creating the forged registered documents. the notices has

been issued to the encroachers but no action has been taken against them by
seeing this opportunity some more land grabber has created the registered
documents by showing masjid e kalan land as their private land. complainant
requested the waqf board to take an action against them but till date no action
is taken against the encroacher.

2) The appellant request for Site map, Survey report , Extent and sketch
map of Masjid E Kalan ( Masjid E Kulsumpura). The PIO has not provided the
details of the same.

3) The appellant request for the details of allocation of development funds


and work related to mosque but the PIO has not provided the details of the
funds. The mosque is in dilapidated condition and it requires urgent repair and
renewals the month of ramzan is going on and next is rainy season. in the rainy
season the roof of the mosque is dripping.

4) The appellant request for the details of approval given for construction
under the land of mosque but the PIO has not provided the details of the same.
many construction works are underway in the land of mosque and many
tenants are demolishing the kamans of mosque and doing new construction
which reduces the beauty and charm of the mosque . it is an heritage of india
and telangana. it is an responsibility of the waqf board to protect such illegal
constructions on the land of mosque

(v) if the appeal is preferred against deemed : Public Information Officer,


refusal, the particulars of the application, : state public information office,
including number and date and name : telangana state waqf board and
address of the Public Information officer :Razzack manzil,
to whom the application is made : opp: public gardens, Hyderabad

(vi) Prayer or relief sought:

To provide the proper information sought by the appellant under RTI


Act. with full and proper details. The appellant requested the above
information for the protection of mosque land. The appellant is an native of
hyderabad and practicing muslim offer prayers in the masjid e kalan due to
non maintenance of proper record and lack of sketch map appellant is not able
to approach the court of law against the encroachers who are doing illegal
construction on the masjid land so i request to provide the above details of the
masjid e kalan (Masjid E Kulsumpura) for the interest of justice.

(vii) Grounds for the prayer or relief: : Against the Waqf Board for non
providing the information sought
by the appellant under RTI Act.

(viii) Verification by the appellant; and:

I verify that the above information are true and correct to the best of my
knowledge and belief. Hence verified.

The appellant has requested for the information related to the complaint
registered Dated 22-10-2022 by Afzaluddin Faroqui and Masjid e kalan Sketch
map, Extent, and other details such as allocation of funds for the development
of the mosque to protect the heritage monument from the encroachment and
any other demolition by the illegal occupants who occupied the land of Masjid.
The appeal is filed within (30) days from the date of completing the 30 days of
Application. The requisite fee by way of Court fee stamp of Rs.10/- is
enclosed.

Therefore, it is prayed to take immediate action in the matter in the


interest of justice.
