Company Background

Jollibee Foods, founded in 1975 as an ice cream parlor by its chairman, Tony Tan Caktiong, is today one
of Asia's top quick-service restaurant chains by market value. Chowking, which serves Asian food;
Greenwich, which sells pizza; Red Ribbon, a bakery chain; and Mang Inasal, which specializes in grilled
chicken, are among the company's other quick-service restaurant brands. Burger King franchise rights in
the Philippines are also owned by the firm.

Jollibee Foods has affiliates that develop and run overseas brands such as Yonghe King, Hong Zhuang
Yuan, San Pin Wang, and 12 Hotpot outside of the Philippines. Brunei, China, Hong Kong, Kuwait, Oman,
Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, the United States, and Vietnam all have restaurants.

Under the trade name Jollibee, Jollibee Foods Corp. develops, operates, and franchises fast food
restaurants. Food Service, Franchising, and Leasing are the company's three segments. The Food Service
section manages quick service restaurants and produces food for Jollibee Group-owned and franchised
fast service restaurants. The Jollibee Group's QSR outlet concepts are franchised through the Franchising
section. The Leasing division primarily leases retail locations to independent franchisees of the Jollibee
Group. Tony Tan Caktiong created the company in 1975, and it is based in Pasig City, Philippines.

Industry, Products and Services Offered

In order to support the QSR systems, it engaged in manufacturing and property leasing. The business
also provides delivery services at any time. Beverages and sweets, breakfast items, chicken, kid's meals,
and snacks such as burgers, noodles, sandwiches, and slides are among the company's offerings. Food
delivery, food shop services, and event celebration are among the services it offers.
