to explain how you will reflect on and evaluate
your work, as both an ongoing activity and at
the conclusion of the project.

You should describe how you intend to

record your decision-making and how you
will document changes to your ideas as the
project progresses. The evaluation section
should reference your stated aims and
be reflective and analytical rather than a
description of actions completed.

When working in collaboration with others,

you should comment on how this may impact
either positively or adversely and outline the
steps you can take to minimise disruption to
your own progress.

Project action plan and timetable:

This section provides you with an opportunity

to outline your planning and organisation
over a period of weeks and the activities you
will need to carry out in order to successfully
complete your project in the agreed time
frame. The more time and thought you give to
planning your project, the more successful it is
likely to be.

It is important that you consider how you will

balance ambition, time and realism in the
realisation of the project. You should also
include what you are going to do, how you
will do it and by when. Remember to include:
time spent sourcing materials and other
resources to conduct research, feedback from
tutors and peers, and when you will carry out
independent study.

Bibliography (Harvard Format):

This section provides an opportunity to record

secondary, that you intend to use.

Your sources of research should be as wide

as possible and could include libraries,
galleries, books, magazines, films, computer
games, websites, blogs, social media, radio
programmes, archive material etc. Where
appropriate, you should use the Harvard
system of referencing. The bibliography should
be continuously updated as the
project progresses.

Section 1: Rationale
(approx. 100 words)
The brief is asking me to create my project based on something I am
interested in, and develop it in the form of posters, storyboards, comic strips,
or some other form of media like that, and present it in a format like
magazines, pamphlets, or some other format. I am reasonably confident in
executing this project because it is entirely up to me, I have no restrictions,
limitations, or anything that could limit my ideas. This project will call upon
my knowledge of Adobe illustrator and photoshop as well as the research and
design skills I have acquired throughout my time at the college. This project
allows me to familiarize myself with the new Adobe software that I will need
to present my produced word, besides that the only opportunity this project
gives me is to refine my already existing skills.

Section 2: Project
Concept
My overall idea for this project is to create a pamphlet or booklet with
(approx. 200 words) educational information on Haitian Voodoo with the pages in a design layout
similar to a magazine, and images are done on Adobe Illustrator. My target
audience is people influenced by the negative interpretations of Voodoo in
pop culture as well as by other religions. The research I would need for my
project is research into specific parts of the religion I am doing the pamphlet
or booklet for, such as their deities, their priest and priestess, how they prey
and why and other parts of the religion I would need to look at, I would also
need to look into alternative forms to present my works in the format I want
to present my work in if I can’t print my work I would need other ways to
present my work such as FlipHTMI5, PowerPoint, a simple slide show and
others I might look into, and finally I would look at successful pamphlets,
booklets, and magazines to help design the final product when all the
illustrations are done. For practical work, I would need to do some practical
experimentation with Adobe InDesign to get familiar with it, and I would need
design sketches for the illustrations and layout sketches for the pages of my
final product, as well as final illustrations for the pages for visual
presentation. The resources I will need for this project would be pens,
pencils, and paper for design sketches, my computer and the Adobe software
I have listed priorly, and access to any of the forms of the presentation I have
already listed.

Section 3: Evaluation
(approx. 50 words)
Throughout this project I will attempt to do a weekly blog, what I mean is that
on the Friday of each week, I will try to do a weekly blog depending on how
much work I have done and how much I need to do, I would like to do focus
groups but I am not sure if I will act on what I intend to do. I will use my
annotations to reflect on my work this will be done by reflecting on what I
have done what was good, what was bad, what needed improvement, and
how I will use it in later pieces of work, I will do this and I will also document
my decisions on the project as well as extra research, new skills and the
results of feedback improvements. Finally, at the end of the project, I will
write a full evaluation.
