    EXECUTIVE ORDER NO. 23


    Series of 2020

    AN ORDER ESTABLISHING TO CONTROL AND PROHIBITION OF USE PROHIBITED FIRE CRACKERS


    AND OTHER PYROTECHNIC DEVICES AND DESIGNATING FIREWORK DISPLAY AREA OF BARANGAY
    SAN JOAQUIN NORTE, AGOO, LA UNION.

    WHEREAS, Republic Act No. 7183 and Presidential Executive Order No. 28 – 2017 provided that the local
    government unit is mandated to observe the manufacturing, sale, distribution and use of firecrackers and
    pyrotechnic devices including the strict compliance to safety precautions, rules and regulation of
    manufacturer, distributor, seller and user;

    WHEREAS, this executive order was enacted to minimize risk of firecracker-related injuries by
    controlling and prohibiting use of firecracker;

    WHEREAS, it is a Filipino tradition of use firecrackers and other pyrotechnic devices to celebrate special
    events thus there is designation of firework display area of barangay San Joaquin Norte, Agoo, La Union;

    NOW THEREFORE, I, VICENTE G. SIGMAN JR., Punong Barangay of San Joaquin Norte, Agoo, La Union,
    by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby order:

    Section I. Prohibited Firecrackers and Other Pyrotechnic Devices:

    Atomic Bomb Bin Laden Atomic Triangle


    Bosa Coke in Can Five Star
    Giant Whistle Bomb Goodbye Philippines Kabasi
    Large Judas Belt Large Bawang Lolo Thunder
    Mother Rocket Piccolo Pillbox
    Pla-pla Super Lolo Watusi

    (and all other types that exceeded the regular firecracker gunpowder weight content)

    Section II. Designation of Fireworks Display Area

    Designation of fireworks display area at barangay auditorium of San Joaquin Norte,Agoo, La Union

    Section III. Penalties

    Any person who uses prohibited firecrackers and pyrotechnic materials on designated area shall be
    punished in accordance with the provision of R.A. 7183.

    This Order shall take effect immediately. SO ORDERED.
