1. What is your understanding of the role of a human resources department?

Recruiting, hiring, settling in, and providing ongoing assistance for new
hires are all tasks carried out by a human resources (HR) department.
Therefore, HR departments are in charge of essential responsibilities like
examining resumes, maintaining personnel records, and making sure a
business conforms with employment laws and standards.
According to what I know about a human resources department's roles,
they are in charge of supervising job recruitment, selection, and performance.
The creation, promotion, and implementation of personnel policies. As well as
having the power to hire and fire workers for the company, the primary duty of
an HR department is to make sure that the company has the most effective
and efficient team. An HR department has the primary responsibility for
creating a secure and healthy work environment in addition to maintaining a
successful operation. Maintaining the related documents is the primary
responsibility. Finally, they evaluate future staffing and training requirements
in consultation with departmental managers in order to help the business
expand and achieve its objectives.
Therefore, Human Resource Management is primarily responsible for
creating the discipline and promotion systems.
2. What do you see as a major event, trend or change that will change human
resources in the next five years?

You might need to make an adjustment quickly if you haven't already


given that the trend toward an employee-tailored workplace is probably going
to continue.
I believe and think that the trend or development that will affect human
resources in the following five years is that there will be a rise in
telecommuting, not only because it addresses work/life concerns but also
because employers will find themselves needing less office space as a result
from rising financial expenses. Perhaps some people may have felt good
about working from home because it allowed them to spend more time with
their families.
Human Resource Management is undergoing a sea change as the
preferences and choices of millennials is fast changing. Companies are
grappling to adapt to the changing scenario

3. Does looking after for the safety and health of the employees is also a duty of
the HR? If yes, how would you do that?

For any organization to run efficiently, safety and health are both


necessary. By protecting the employees and reducing absence rates, you
may be able to improve effectiveness and productivity at work. Health sets
an intense focus on the primary prevention of dangers, while safety measures
serve to prevent accidents and injuries. The goal is to stop accidents and
injury caused by work-related activities.
The HR department is also responsible for the health and safety of the
workers; thus, I would be ensuring that employees have protection against
serious illnesses that they may contract at work. Typically, this takes the form
of employee training to reduce the probability that they would be exposed to
workplace dangers.
The fact that HR is advantageous in the company's training and
wellness initiatives is a good thing.
4. What are the aspects you do like about Human Resources as a whole?

The primary aspects of human resources are that they include a wide
range of responsibilities and duties within an organization. Listed below are
Recruitment and staffing, Employee relations, Training and development,
Compensation and benefits, Performance management, and Compliance with
labor laws and regulations
But one aspect of human resources that I appreciate is employee
relations since a good start to the work is starting to people on how they
connect, so good relations is very essential to satisfied employees, a positive
working environment, and increased performance.
It's essential to manage and maintain good relations between
management and employees.

5.What do you think are the roles and responsibilities of an HR Manager?

The Human Resource Manager will be in charge of leading and


directing the regular activities of the HR department, such as recruiting and
interviewing employees, handling salary, benefits, and leave requests, and
enforcing business rules and procedures.
I believe that an HR manager's primary duties and responsibilities are
to supervise and manage the various employee management and
development-related activities within an organization. HR managers play an
essential part in any organization by managing the company's human
resources operations.
The purpose of a human resources manager is to improve employer-
employee relations. A number of operations inside the human resources
division and throughout the entire company support this goal.
