LEARNING AT HOME

Note for the Learners
Dear Student
With summer holidays around the corner, our hearts swell up with a spectrum of emotions.
We are sure that summer 2023 will provide you with ample opportunities to savour the small
moments, strengthen your connections and brush up your skills.
To maintain the educational continuum and to keep in view the rejuvenation you need, an enriching
learning at home for the holidays is designed to keep you constructively busy and put monotony at
bay. The Holidays are planned keeping in mind the activities that the students can do comfortably at
home using digital media and other such resources available at home. Don your thinking cap, wear
your magic mantle to put forth your creative side. Have fun and frolic, build up your learning activities
as a treasure.
As ‘Looking for the good in others never goes out of trend’, therefore appreciate others, increase your
resilience and boost your immunity, work with a well drafted schedule and engage yourself in
innovative activities to take full advantage of this time.
Things to remember during summer vacation: While your parents and we want you to have
fun during summer break, we also want you to be reflective thinkers. The following guidelines
will help you enjoy your freedom with responsibility.
1. Find other ways of entertaining yourself than phones and TV, learn a musical instrument
like guitar or keyboard, learn a hobby like origami or magic tricks, read novels, learn
cooking, etc.
2. For every hour of electronics, you give one hour of reading. Reading is a must. Reading
nurtures your soul.
3. If you are bored, help out at home. This will also help you realize the importance of
organization and cleanliness especially in the current situation.
4. There is no sleeping all day and staying up all night: It is unhealthy and it will be hard for
you to readjust to the regular school schedule at the end of this break.
5. Make sure you make time for your parents: Watch TV, adopt a hobby and spend more time
with your family doing something constructive.
6. Revise the syllabus covered in the month of April & May 2023.
7. July 4, 2023, school reopens.
Happy summers!
With best wishes
Team DPS
