    Features Applications

    • Very good drying time • Two component polyurethane coating systems


    • Very good durability and weathering resistance for wood, plastic, metal and high performance
    • Very good mechanical and adhesion properties architectural coatings
    on the galvanized steel and aluminum substrate • Automotive refinishing top coat & clear coat
    • Excellent gloss in 2k polyurethane system

    Characteristics

    • Solvent Xylene
    • Solid Content 60 ± 2%
    • Hydroxyl content 2.7%
    • Viscosity Gardner @25⁰C Z- Z1
    • Viscosity CP @25⁰C 2200-2700
    • Acid Value mg KOH/gm solid 10 max
    • Color by Hazen 50 max

    Recommendations

    • To increase the drying speed it is recommended to add DBTL (Tin dibutyl dilyrate) in small amount (0.01-0.03%)
    or tert. amines (diethanolamine or dimethylethanol amine)
    • Combination with aliphatic isocyanates doesn't present yellowing
    • Combination with aromatic isocyanates present faster curing but with some yellowing
    • The solvent have to be without water and without hydroxyl group like alcohols and glycols

    RARPOLYOL AP 26033 XL Should be stored indoors in the original, unopednd and undamaged containers in a dry place
    at storage temperatures between 5⁰C and 30⁰C Exposure to sun shine should be avoided.

    Under the above mentioned storage conditions the stability of RARPOLYOL AP 26033 XL will be 12 months ex-work
