Yoke Darmawan is an eminent Indonesian marketing and human resources
consultant, trainer and presenter. Graduated in Business Management from
Swinburne University (Melbourne), Yoke started her professional career by
joining Tirian with a view to opening the Indonesian branch of the Sydney
awarded consulting firm. From year 2000 onwards, she expanded Tirian’s
business in Jakarta and delivered team building and leadership development

BUTLER TRAINING
Butler service requires a specific set of skills and training to provide exceptional service and meet the

• Hospitality and Service Skills: Training in general hospitality and service skills is essential for butlers. This
includes knowledge of proper etiquette, professional communication, personal grooming, and the ability
to anticipate and fulfill guests' needs. Training in areas such as customer service, conflict resolution, and
effective communication can enhance these skills.

• Fine Dining and Food Service: Butlers often handle tasks related to fine dining, including table setting,
silver service, wine pairing, and menu planning. Training in formal dining etiquette, food and beverage
service, and culinary knowledge can help butlers excel in these areas. Knowledge of dietary restrictions,
allergies, and special dietary requirements is also important.

• Housekeeping and Maintenance: Butlers are typically responsible for maintaining the cleanliness,
