Letter to the Host Family

Always be sure to write a letter for potential host families to read. Families want to get
to know you, so here is where you can be unique. Some questions that you can think
about include: What makes you different from all the other au pairs applying? Is there
something unique about you (do you play an instrument, sport, etc.)? Why do you think
you would be a good au pair? What are you hoping to discover while you are an au
pair? If you have a driver's license, tell them more about your experience driving!

Photos & Videos

Including photos and a video with your application helps to bring you to life! Host
families always request to see photos, so this is important to include with your
application. Adding a video to your application is not required, but it is strongly
encouraged. To include photos with your application, attach them to the email when
you submit your application to Admin@ExpertAuPair.com. To include a video with your
application, provide a link to your video in the space provided on the application.
