During the Minimum Hire Term there are 39 Rental Instalments of Total Allowance payable at four
weekly intervals (each a “Rental Period”) commencing on 27/04/2022.

After the Minimum Hire Term (if applicable) there will be further Rental Instalments depending on the
number of Rental Periods which occur after the Minimum Hire Term. Rental Instalments for part Rental
Periods shall be pro-rated.

If the Rental Instalments are stated as being VARIABLE each Rental Instalment equals the aggregate
amount of Allowance (as defined in the Conditions) payable to the Hirer (or Disabled Person) in each
Rental Period but it shall not reduce below the initial amount of Rental Instalments stated above. Rental
Instalments stated as Total Allowance (“T/A”) WILL THEREFORE INCREASE if the rate of Allowance
increases.

If the Rental Instalments are stated as being CONSTANT each Rental Instalment shall equal the
amount of the Rental Instalment stated above and shall not reduce below the initial amount of the
Rental Instalment stated above.

If the Hirer ceases to be entitled to receive or deal with the Allowance because they (or the Disabled
Person) no longer qualify for it, we shall be entitled to terminate the Agreement and recover possession
of the Vehicle. The Rental Instalments for any Rental Period during which the entitlement is lost shall be
equal to the amount of the Allowance which would have been payable to the Hirer during such Rental
Period had they continued to be entitled to receive or deal with it and it shall be payable on termination.

OTHER PAYMENTS

Other payments that are or may be payable by you to us under this Agreement:

1. For care and maintenance or protection of the Vehicle or where loss or damage to the Vehicle
occurs, you will have to pay the Loss and Damage Excess of £100 unless the driver is in any of the
categories listed below:
l Ages 16 – 20 inclusive £500
l Ages 21 – 24 inclusive £300 (see clauses 9.1 and 9.2).
2. You will have to pay a Windscreen Excess of £50 in the event that the Vehicle’s windscreen,
windows or sunroof are replaced (see clause 9.1).
3. On early termination prior to the Minimum Hire Term:
l The early termination administration fee of £250 (see clause 16.4.2)
l Our costs in recovering the Vehicle from you and storing it before the sale (see clause 16.4.5)
4. On any termination:
l Excess Mileage Payments of 5p per mile in excess of 20,000 miles per year of the Hire Term. If

applicable, VAT will be added at the appropriate rate (see clause 2.4).
l Any unpaid Loss and Damage Excess and any amounts in respect of repairs to the Vehicle and
reinstating the Vehicle following modifications and adaptations (see clause 15.5.4, 16.4.3 and

DURATION OF HIRE

The Hire Term is for a minimum period of three years starting on the date of delivery of the Vehicle (the
“Minimum Hire Term”), but continuing thereafter until either the expiry of a period of twenty four months
following the Minimum Hire Term (the “Maximum Hire Term”) or the date on which this Agreement is
terminated in accordance with the terms set out in the Contract Hire Terms and Conditions (Ref T&Cs -

01/22)(the “Conditions”), whichever is the earlier.

CHARGES ON DEFAULT BY THE HIRER
We may require you to pay interest on any overdue sums of money under this Agreement at the rate of

2% p.a. over the base rate of HSBC Bank PLC (see clause 17.1).

If you fail to keep the Vehicle in good condition (allowing for fair wear and tear) you shall be liable to us

for the costs incurred in repairing the damage to the Vehicle and/or restoring the Vehicle to a good
condition (see clause 12.3).
CANCELLATION

This Agreement is non-cancellable. You DO NOT have the right to a “cooling off” period in which you
can cancel this Agreement after it is signed without any cost.

Missing payments could have severe consequences and may make obtaining credit more difficult.

IMPORTANT – READ THIS CAREFULLY TO FIND OUT ABOUT YOUR RIGHTS

The Consumer Credit Act 1974 covers this Agreement and lays down certain requirements for your
protection which should have been complied with when the Agreement was made. If they were not, the
Owner cannot enforce this Agreement against you without getting a court order.

 This Agreement incorporates these pages and the Conditions and you acknowledge that you have
received and accept the Conditions.

This Agreement must only be signed via the personal identification number (“PIN”) you received with
your acceptance letter and must not be signed whilst you (or the Disabled Person if different from the
Hirer) are a hospital in-patient.

This is a Hire Agreement regulated by the Consumer Credit Act 1974. Sign it only if you want to be
legally bound by its terms. By entering the personal identification number (“PIN”) you received with your
acceptance letter and clicking the “Submit” button, you accept the Conditions of this Hire Agreement.

you (whether you are the Disabled Person or the Hirer) give your explicit consent to the collection,
holding, use and disclosure of your personal information (including personal sensitive information) for
the purposes set out in clause 18.

that (i) you are the Disabled Person’s appointee and give your explicit consent to the collection, holding,
use and disclosure of the Disabled Person’s personal information (including personal sensitive

Individuals have a right to withdraw the consent provided for the processing of personal information at

should note that we may not be able to provide the services under this Agreement and, even if it is

withdrawn, in respect of certain personal information, we may still have a legal reason to continue using
