Hi folks!
I hope you all are doing fine ^-^ Today’s pattern is pokemon related, specifically with the last pokemon game that was launched, pokemon x/y. Since they
released Pokemon Origins, I became in love for Mega Charizard X and I really enjoy the way he looks like and his colors. However, when I started playing
pokemon x/y my favorite charizard mega evolution became Mega Charizard Y, haha. That’s why I decided to make Charizard Y first, I really wanted to have
the star of my team in my room <3
Before someone asks, I do intend to make Mega Charizard X, but first I have the need to make a World of Warcraft amigurumi!! So, yes, my next pattern it is
going to be a WoW character! :D Can you guess which one?

Assembly:
1. The first step is sewing the head to the body. Although, first we have to cut some wire to insert in Charizard’s body, which will give his neck some support:
I. Cut some wire in the size of twice his full body (if the head was already sewn to his body);
Wire
II. Then, bend the wire, which should be at the same size of his full body (if the head was already sewn to
his body);
III. Bend the tips of the wire and wrap them with adhesive tape:
IV. Now, insert it inside his body already stuffed with fiberfill;
V. Finally, stick the end of the wire in his head end sew it to his body.
(The step below has a photo tutorial that it is similar and will help you in this first step too)
2. In the second step we are going to sew the tail to the body. First, stuff the tail and then you are going to
put some wire in his tail, which will make it poseable:
I. Cut some wire and bend it in the same size as his tail:

V. Sew the tail to his body and sew the horns of his tail to it.
I. Before that, stuff the arms and then sew them to the body. After that cut some wire and insert it in his arms. Insert
from one arm to another as shown in the photo bellow. Cut the extra wire, bend the tips and hide them.
I. Pick up one orange wing and one teal wing and sew the bottom of them together with a 0.25mm nylon.
II. Use a thicker wire into the wings. I used a number 14 galvanized wire. Cut some wire in the shape
bellow, which is the wing’s shape. Moreover, it is necessary to leave a long wire coming out of the extremity
which will be sewn to the body (take a look in the photos bellow). This long wire it will works as a support
for the wing and it needs to be long, because it is going to penetrate his body and reach his legs (Soon, I
will explain this better):
Here it is the long wire. It needs to be long enought to penetrate Charizard’s body and reach his legs. (T his one is too long, I had t cute it a bit)
III. Now position the wire between the two sides of the wings and make a line of sc joining the two sides with
the wire between them:
V. Wrap the tip of the wire with orange yarn. Use some glue to fix the yarn into it:
VI. After that, it is time to put the two wings in the body. First, stick the long double wire near his neck in the
middle of his back until it reaches his legs in the same way as the photos bellow. This is necessary to give
support to his wings.

9. Sew his cream jaw to the head. However, don’t sew his “cheeks” to the head. Just sew until the end of
the his snout.
Sew the cream jaw until here. See that his cheeks ins’t sewn.
Sew the cream jaw until here. See that his cheek isn’t sewn.
10. Before sewing his cheeks we will sew the snout to the head in the same places as shown in the photos bellow:
I. These photos are showing the places where the snout should be sewn.
Last round of his snout
II. After you have sewn the snout, it is time to sew his cheeks. They will be sewn on the final part of the snout.
11. Now, sew the inner part of the snout to his head, which will guarantee that nobody will be able to pull up the
snout;
13. In the 13th step you will sew the eyebrows and nostrils to the head
II. Position the eyes in his head and pin them with adhesive tape in the best place;
I. Pick up the molds that you have already done and pin them with adhesive tape in a white felt;
III. Now, you will paint his eyes. First, paint his iris, which should be red (shiny) or blue (usual)
IV. Wait for the paint to dry and then paint his pupil using black
V. Again, wait for the paint to dry and then paint the light reflect using white
VI. After the paint has dried, use the contact glue to glue the eyes into his face
16. The last thing to do is his teeths. Use white felt to make them. Cut the felt and glue inside his snout,
leaving the tooth tip visible.
The end!!!
