INTRODUCTION
The enthusiasm of sports in the Philippines is incomparable. Filipinos are avid sports
fans, whether they are active participants or merely observers. Isabela, most populated
among the five provinces in Cagayan Valley has the potential to improve certain areas of the
city's reputation, to meet the needs of public places without consuming new space, to repair
the harm caused by urban sprawl with quality measures, to generate significant economic
impacts through the effects triggered by investments.
The facility will encourage the merging of social, cultural, and economic communities
across the city. It will offer a more effective and useful infrastructure for multipurpose sports
facilities for competitions and training sessions. Sustainability and development of the
country’s most embraced sports is one of the necessities for the nation to gain international
recognition. The heart and soul of a community are indeed the sports and arts.
II. BACKGROUND OF THE STUDY
The appreciation of sports in the Philippines is unmatched. Filipinos are avid sports
fans, whether they are active participants or merely observers. When a Filipino athlete or
team is competing for victory, the entire nation supports them on. It merely demonstrates
how sports achievement generates a wide range of chances, extracts fame for the nation,
and also reveals the athlete's passion, which unites the hearts of people from that nation.
Philippine Sports Development is given a significant portion of the Fund, which demonstrates
how much the recreational activities occur in the country.
Cauayan Isabela, a city that offers a wide range of youth- and society events and
facilities needed more structures that can nurture their abilities and encourage health and
wellness. The Cauayan Isabela sport complex is currently a 6,000-seating capacity
Grandstand and Track Oval mostly used by various schools and organizations engage in
different sports.
The majority of sports facilities in our nation today have numerous issues with the
accommodations for athletes. For the purpose of producing net tourism revenue. The nation
must have a sports facility with substantial and sufficient space. The Cauayan Isabela sport
complex primary issue is the lack of other facilities at the sport complex and came up with
the solution for redevelopment by functionally and sustainably maximizing the land.
The sustainable approach has become one of the most popular architectural
concepts in the past decade. Everyone desires a green, environmentally friendly building.
And in order to do that, sustainable design must be used from the outset.
Whereas sustainable buildings can be defined as buildings that have minimal negative
impacts on the built and natural environment, in terms of the building itself, its immediate
environment and broader regional and global arrangements. Furthermore, the goals for
sustainable building that will incorporate for the redevelopment on the sport complex can be
defined as:
V. DESIGN ILLUSTRATION:
Adjacency allows each space to be clearly defined and to respond to specific functional or
symbolic requirements. And the amount of continuity that takes place between two spaces
depends on the characteristics of the plane that separates and brings them together at the
same time.
ORGANIZATIONAL APPROACH
According to use spaces are arranged according to the level of use and/or users.
