    The five-day seminar workshop aimed to enhance teachers' competencies in lesson planning, instruction delivery, and use of pedagogical approaches. Sixty-nine teachers from five schools participated and learned about modules from the PPST Resources Package, formulating objectives based on KRAs, and the IPPD guide for professional development. Teachers were inspired to improve teaching skills using the 2C 2I 1R and 7Es approaches through discussions, demonstrations, videos and activities. The use of ICT like e-games in interactive instruction was also covered.

    NARRATIVE REPORT ON THE CONDUCT OF SCHOOL LEARNING ACTION CELL

    (SLAC)
    OCTOBER 21-25, 2019

    The school in-service training on Enhancing Teacher’s Competencies On


    Lesson Planning And Delivery Of Instruction Following The PPST Resources
    Package And Utilizing The Pedagogical Approaches is a five days seminar
    workshop designed to support teacher’s in organizing and managing their classes and
    lessons effectively and efficiently, ensure the achievement of the desirable learning
    outcomes and to enhance the competencies of the teachers in delivery of instruction to
    promote quality teaching-learning outcomes. It is join activity participated in by 69
    teachers from five different clustered schools and five school heads from the same
    schools held at BES Covered Court last October 21-25, 2019 under the chairmanship of
    Mr. Herbert A. Salva Cruz, Principal I of Paaralang Elementarya ng Buhaynasapa.
    The program started with a prayer led by Mrs. Bernadette F. Contreras, followed
    by singing of National Anthem. Calabarzon, Batangas Hym and San Juan Hym. Ms.
    Beverly Maranan was the master of ceremony welcome everyone warmly on the first
    day.
    In the said training different topics were discussed by skillfull resource speaker
    Mrs. Wenifreda D. Cruzat about module 1 and 2 of the PPST Resources Package, module
    3 and 4 were tackled by Mrs. Anastacia D. Mendoza, next is Module 5 and 6 were
    discussed by Ms. Mylene Mendoza, and Mrs. Leni B. Cabato were deliberated module 7,
    8 and 9 and Mrs. Maria E. Aclan discussed module 10, 11 and 12. The participants were
    guided on how they will formulate their objectives based on different KRA’s expected
    from them. And lastly Mrs. Maricris S. Abundo tackled about IPPD that serves as a guide
    for the teachers purposive learning and development as a professional.
    The SLAC session inspired the teachers to improve their teaching skills in
    discussing the Pedagogical Approaches and making lesson plan utilizing the 2C 2I 1R
    Approaches and 7Es in teaching Science and demo teaching was done .
    Other topic was about utilizing ICT in the teaching learning process especially on
    how to make use of computer assisted instruction and how we can make our instruction
    more interactive was deliberated by Mr. Herbert A. Salva Cruz. Ms. Shaira E. Ramos
    demonstrate on how to use ICT in teaching like E-Games.
    Videos were presented by the speakers to help them understand the topic very
    well. Activities were also given to maximize the teachers’ participation in the said
    training.
