ECOSYSTEM-
Ecosystem Engineer->Structural change->abiotic change->Biotic change
The physical ecosystem engineering process can be defined as the following: Organismally caused,
structurally mediated changes in the distribution, abundance, and composition of energy and
materials in the abiotic environment arising independent or irrespective of changes due to
assimilation and dissimilation.

BIODIVERSITY
Biodiversity is a broad term for biological variety, and it can be measured at a number of
organizational levels. Traditionally, ecologists have measured biodiversity by taking into account both
the number of species and the number of individuals in each of those species. However, biologists are
using measures of biodiversity at several levels of biological organization (including genes,
populations, and ecosystems) to help focus efforts to preserve the biologically and technologically
important elements of biodiversity.

3.
Civil engineers build the buildings that society uses on a daily basis for living, working, and
transportation, including highways, bridges, airports, and water treatment facilities. Environmental
engineers create tools and procedures to address issues with the environment.
