Teenage Pregnancy

Good afternoon ladies and gentleman! My speech is about teenage pregnancy.


For our children to be children at this time in society is getting more and more difficult. It
appears that the youth's perspective is not determined by their age these days. Children
are maturing a little bit too quickly since the young mind is actually getting more mature
than we realize. They just act as they wish because they are unaware that their
decisions have repercussions. Today's youth are dealing with a number of issues, such
as drug use and underage drinking. Teenage pregnancies, however, are one of the most
significant. Given that teenage pregnancy is entirely avoidable, it seems ironic.
Nevertheless, our children are conceiving children every year, with each new parent
being younger than the previous one.

There a lot of reasons why teenagers become pregnant but most of them are
unintentional or they are curious of how it is having sexual intercourse without proper
sex education. Many young women who get pregnant occasionally wish they hadn't.
They either don't want to be parents or are aware that the time isn't appropriate, which is
why this occurs. By the time they discover they are pregnant, they are already
experiencing anxiety because it was never intended to happen and they also don't want
their parents to find out or know.Critical socioeconomic challenges like poverty, low
education, dangerous behaviors that result in poor health, and child welfare are more
likely to affect a child who has a baby as a teenager.

Teen age pregnancy is sometimes the reason why there is a poverty. Teenagers that
had been pregnant often drop out of school limiting their opportunity to get a better job.
Being pregnant can be a hindrance that the teenager may be limited with opportunities.
Poor education also contribute to why there is poverty in teenage pregnancy.
Teenage pregnancy is caused by lacking of sex education. Lacking of sex education
they tend to be curious about mature things and was not able to be educated properly.
Not having sex education teenagers are just curious about these things are not able to
learn what are the pros and cons .
Not knowing what they are doing and curious about everything they tend to do it and
without proper precautions.

Teenagers who got pregnant are much prone into having health problems. They have
high ratings that might experience maternal death or dying after having a baby.
Teenagers are prone to health issues because they may lack of early and regular
prenatal care, coupled with the fact that they are more likely to smoke, drink and take
social drugs while pregnant. It will also affect the baby.
There a lot of reasons why maternal death happens but likely the reason are teenage
mothers who gave birth and unfortunately die because there is no proper care and
orientation of being pregnant.
Transition
These are just few of negativity of having a baby in an early age.

This the reason why I am standing in front of you to encourage everyone to have proper
knowledge about these things. It is good to avoid and prevent having sexual intercourse
in this kind of age. If you can't then it is best to use protection and proper precautions to
avoid any problems. It is important not to tolerate these kind of things. This problem
don't just affect you personally but it can affect economically. Preventing teenage
pregnancy can lead us better society where there is no other problems can arise.
Poverty, lacking of sex education, health problems cannot prosper if we help to eliminate
teenage pregnancy.
