4 Cartridge installation

The optimum conditon and storage temperature is 15~25℃, avoid direct sunlight. If printing under the
environment that is below 5℃ or above 30℃, the print quality will be reduced.
If ink stored in the place where is too cold or too hot for a long time, please place it at ordinary temperature
for at least 24 hours until it is in the ordinary temperature. Do not try to heat it or cool it otherwise its print
quality will be reduced.
Please wear prevention tools like plastic gloves, preventional glasses when doing any repairs whenever
possible to touch inks.
Keep inks away from children. Waste ink should be handled properly otherwise it might cause
environment pollution or damage to health.
Please do not use the cartridge if it fell off because any shake might damage it

1.Test the print quality before print. Adjust it according to print state

If you pause print, then the print quality will be different compared to the original one. So avoid pausing

Print head alignment

To make sure great print quality, please do the head alignment.
Strips will appear while printing if head alignment is not done, and print precision will also

Double direct adjustment
* This operation is only available when you choose “BI_DIRECTION” under PRINT QUALITY.
To regulate the offset of bidirectional print.
This operation is prerequisite if printing material is changed, or head height is adjusted, or the driver has
reinstalled.

Cutting Blade Adjustment

3.Adjust high/low position screws of relays to ensure the distance between cutting blade bracket and
plate within 3-4mm when the printer is on. Please make sure the cutting blade out of the bracket 1mm by
adjusting the high/low position screw.
Please adjust the value of the cutting force properly. Normally, the value should be within the range
4.5-5.5GF. The cutting blade physical location might be subject to change according to different
types of machine, and the value should have some adjustment given to the real situation as well.
The cutting blade should be rotating and the blade point should be forward when it is working. If any
path like sawtooth, the reason might be the rotating failure resulted from the cutting blade bracket.
Under such a circumstance, you are suggested to get the bracket dipped in the petrol for a little while
before using it.

5.Access to the PP_CALIBRAT_TEST interface and press enter to make a test, the path of the cutter is
shown in the dotted line. The cutter path shows as -10 value in x-axis and -10 value in y-axis, you should
make the revise accordingly on the menu board. Vice versa, the cutter path shows as +10 value in x-axis and
+10 value in y-axis, you should make the revise accordingly on the menu board.

6.When finishing the alignment, the cutter path will straightly coincide the ordinate chart, shown as
below. It can provide with you a precision contour cutting. (maybe there will be 1 value deviation, you
probably make an alignment for the actual subject).

Maintenance
Change cartridge

from -20 to 40℃(-4~104℉).
Please handle with care when install or take off the cartridge.

Print head maintenance
NOTICE
After operation, check and confirm the carridge back to the base point to ensure the close
connection between print head and damper, make the head hermetically sealed with the damper.
When out of operation for more than 4 days, pour some solution onto the damper( be care of back
flow, it seems to be enough when the damper's sponge is soaked with solution)check and confirm
the carriage back to the base point to ensure the close connection between print head and cap,
make the head hermetically sealed with the damper.
When the printer does not work for a long time, you are suggested to clean the ink system and
unload the print head , then pack it with standary process.
When out of operation for a long time cause the blocks in the print head, to make the head
immersed with solution for a while. if possible to remove the blocks by ultrasonics.lasting 10-30
seconds a time, over usage can do harms to the print head.
NOTICE
After operation, use the eco solvent solution to clean up the peristaltic pump and the cap/cap of
service station, to prevent the ink congealment.
Before operation, to immerse the head into the solution for a while, to ensure its operation state, it
can prolong the working life.
When the printer does not work for a long time, you are suggested to clen the ink path and unload
the print head , then pack it with standary process.
When out of operation for a long time cause the blocks in the print head, to make the head
immersed with solution for a while. if possible to remove the blocks by ultrasonics.lasting 10-30
seconds a time, over usage can damagethe print head.

Handle waste inks
Please handle waste inks as following steps when ink reaches the limit level of waste ink collecting box or
you need to move the machine.
NOTICE When take off waste ink collecting box please keep it vertical and do not shake, as it might spatter
out.
Waste ink can not be reused and it contains poisonous compositions. So do not burn or handle it as a
general rubbish.
Do not pour waste inks into sewer or river, otherwise it might cause environment pollution.

Cleaning
NOTICE Before cleaning please turn off the main power switch and unplug the power cord first.
* Turn off the sub power switch first and then turn off the main power switch.
Cleaning pressure plate regularly, because it will affect print quality if it is dirty.
Clean print head with our special cleaning cloth (or cleaning rod) and cleaning solution.
Do not clean or rub print head surface with any materials which might cause irreparable damage.
