ACTIVITY COMPLETION REPORT (ACR)

PART I
Title of Activity: 2022 BRIGADA PAGBASA
Date: SEPTEMBER, 2022
Venue: Bangantalinga Elementary School, Bangantalinga, Iba, Zambales
Budget allocation: N/A
Source of fund: Donors from different stakeholders
Objectives:

The aims of Brigada Pagbasa are the following:


1. Launch the Brigada Eskwela in Bangantalinga Elementary School
2. Mobilize partnerships focal persons of Brigada Eskwela to ensure the effective
implementation of Brigada Eskwela in Bangantalinga Elementary School and to
ensure involvements of the community and local stakeholders.
3. Make the Bangantalinga Elementary School ecologically conscious, resilient, clean,
and conducive to learning.

Expected number of participants: 300


Specifically, the participants are the following:
a. one (1) school head,
b. sixteen (16) elementary teachers, and
c. 2 janitors,1 guard
d. all the parents of pupils in Bangantalinga Elementary School
e. Barangay officials
f. Other School Stakeholders and Volunteers

PART II

NARRATIVE REPORT

I. Introduction

Brigada Eskwela is one of the annual activities of Dep Ed before the opening of classes.
It is the National Maintenance Week which aims to prepare a safe learning environment for
the learners, teaching and non-teaching personnel, and community to achieve safety while
ensuring the delivery of quality education during the opening of in-person classes.
The Bangantalinga Elementary School teaching and non-teaching staff, spearheaded
by the School Head, Sir Edgar E. Sagun, officially kicked off the nationwide Brigada
Eskwela 2022 on August 1, 2022, in collaboration with the parents, local governments,
community and other school’s partners and stakeholders. A motorcade was conducted
followed by a short program wherein Mrs. Irenea T. Fallorin, Master teacher II, and Mrs.
Mara F. Garcia, BES Brigada Eskwela Coordinator, gave short messages and encouragement
to support the said activities.

Among the activities are: repainting of classrooms’ walls, ceiling, doors, and windows;
repairing of roofs, ceiling, chairs, tables, and cabinets; pruning of trees, grass cutting,
cleaning of the school surroundings and rehabilitation of the school garden; and restructuring
and disinfecting of classrooms.
The two-week long activities had been a success with the help of all those who
volunteered their time and effort as well as those who gave financial assistance.
