GENERAL CONSTRUCTION NOTES

1.0 SPECIFICATIONS 7.0 REINFORCING STEEL


1.1 ALL WORKS SHALL COMPLY WITH THE "DPWH STANDARD SPECIFICATIONS FOR 9.1 THE CONTRACTOR SHALL SUBMIT SHOP DRAWINGS TO THE ENGINEER FOR 9.4 UNLESS OTHERWISE SHOWN ON THE DRAWINGS, THE CLEAR DISTANCE BETWEEN
HIGHWAYS, BRIDGES AND AIRPORTS", 2013 EDITION. APPROVAL PRIOR TO FABRICATION. SHOP DRAWINGS SHOULD SHOW DETAILS FOR PARALLEL BAR SHALL NOT BE LESS THAN THE NOMINAL DIAMETER OF THE BARS
FABRICATION AND FOR PLACING REINFORCING STEEL. ONLY THOSE NECESSARY FOR NOT 1 - 1/3 TIMES THE MAXIMUM SIZE OF THE COARSE AGGREGATE WHEN
THE PROPER LOCATION OF THE STEEL ARE REQUIRED ON THE DRAWINGS. BENDING REINFORCEMENT IN THE BEAMS OR GIRDER IS PLACED IN TWO OR MORE LAYERS.
