Crochet Pattern – Helmet

American Term. Abbreviations:


Ch = Chain
St = Stitch, stitches
Sc = Single crochet
Hdc = Half double crochet
Sl st = Slip Stitch
Ea = Each
Rep = Repeat

Material: Worsted yarn (Red Heart Super Saver)


Color A (Main color):80-150 yards.
Color B: 50- 70 yards, for bands (Worsted or DK yarn)
Color C: For plume, 30-60 yards

Hook: US 7/4.5mm, or any size hook to obtain the gauge


Gauge: 13 sts (Sc) and 14 rows in 4”/10cm
Yarn sewing needle

around the hat, use a few pins to stabilize it.
Make sure the band covered the front edge

Plume

Wrap yarn on a cardboard about 2.5”/6.5cm


width.
