Pattern
When crocheting the base, ch 1 at the beginning of each round - This does not count as a
stitch, neither does it count towards the st total.
Finish all rounds with a sl st in the first st.

1. Make 1 mr and ch 1. Work 9 hdc into the ring. Finish with a sl st. (9)

2. Ch 1. Work 2 hdc in each st. Finish with a sl st. (18)

3. “Ch 4, skip 1 st and work 1 sc in the next st”. Repeat “to” to the end of the round.
Finish with a sl st. (9 ch spaces)

4. Work 2 sl sts up along the first ch space to begin in the middle of the space. “Ch 4,
work 1 sc into the next ch space” Repeat “to” to the end of the round. To end the
round, work 1 sc into the first ch space made in this same round. (9 ch spaces)

5. - 21. “Ch 4, work 1 sc into the next ch space” Repeat “to” to the end of the round. (9
ch spaces)

22. Work 1 sc into the ch space into which you worked the last sc of the previous round.
“Work 1 sc in the next st, work 2 sc into the following ch space”.
Repeat “to” to the end of the round. Finish with a sl st. (26)

23. Ch 1 and work sc in each st. Finish with a sl st. (26) Don’t cut the yarn as you are
going to continue making the handle from this point.

Handle

1. Ch 1. Work 1 sc in the next 3 sts.(3)

2. - 135. Ch 1 and turn. Work 1 sc in the next 3 sts.(3)


Leave a long tail for assembling.

Sew the end on 10 stitches from the handle on the other side. Sew it on across 3 stitches.
Cut the yarn and weave in ends.
