So, our
next speaker is the one who has excelled in the field of research and highly
contributed to the field of electronics, Dr. Vinod Karar. Dr. Karar is currently
designated as the chief scientist at Central Road Research Institute (CRRI) New
Delhi, he has completed his master’s degree from PEC in 1999 followed by
Ph.D. degree in Electrical and Instrumentation Engineering from Thapar
Institute in 2014. He started his professional career as a Professor &
Coordinator at Academy of Scientific and Innovative Research followed by
working as the Chief Scientist at CSIR-CSIO for more than 29 years. He has
made significant contributions in field of avionics, optronics and electro-optic
instrumentation. He has also published more than 100 papers in reputed
journal and holds several patents.
So, without any further delay I would like to request Dr. Vinod Karar to come
up on the stage and share his journey from PEC to CRRI and encourage
students for research after higher education.
