Dear Qaiser,

Further to our recent discussions, we are pleased to make our formal offer of employment, which is made on the following
terms and conditions:

1) Designation
Your designation will be Engineer – Tech Support.

2) Accountability
You will report directly to the Technical Support Manager or his designate

3) Work Location
You will be based in National Industries Park - Dubai, though you may be transferred to other branches / locations in the
UAE, or abroad as deemed necessary for the business. A due notice shall be given to you in this respect. You will also be
expected to travel on the company’s behalf to various locations and countries as and when required by the company.

4) Working Hours
The company working hours for the time being is as follows:
 Monday to Friday - from 08.30 till 18.00 (with 30 minutes break for lunch)
 Saturday & Sunday - rest days.
However, subject to the workload, you may be required to work additional hours, in line with the UAE Labour Law, as
deemed necessary for the timely completion of your job.

5) Commencement Date
Your commencement date is as early as possible.

6) Marital Status
You will be joining the company on a Single status basis.

7) Probationary Period
This offer is subject to a probationary period of three months, during which your performance and conduct will be
monitored. During this period both parties may terminate their employment without giving any notice. After the
completion of the probationary period and provided no notice of termination have been issued or received by either
party, the employment contract shall transform automatically to an unlimited contract of employment. No additional
contract shall be issued other than what may be required by the authorities.

During the probationary period, any sick leave shall be considered as annual leave.
8) Remuneration
Your all-inclusive package shall be AED 13,500.- (UAE Dirham Thirteen Thousand Five Hundred only) payable monthly in
arrears at the end

a) Basic Salary
Your basic salary, which is included in your all-inclusive package, shall be AED 7,500. - (UAE Dirham Seven Thousand Five
Hundred only) payable monthly in arrears at the end of each calendar month. The basic salary shall be the basis for
calculating your end of service benefits in accordance with the provisions of the UAE Labour Law. Salaries are reviewed
annually; the review may, but not necessarily result in an increment.

b) Housing Allowance
Your above all-inclusive package includes AED 4,500. – (UAE Dirham Four Thousand Five Hundred only) as your
accommodation allowance which is also deemed to cover municipal tax, agent fees and all associated costs. The lease
contract shall be in your name and at your own responsibility.

c) Other Allowances
Your above all – inclusive package includes AED 1,500. - (UAE Dirham One Thousand Five Hundred only) which is deemed
to cover vacation tickets, Car, utilities, and furniture allowances.

9) Company Provided Benefits


In addition to your all-inclusive package, you shall be entitled to the following company provided benefits, which may
change from time to time as deemed necessary by the management:

a) Medical Insurance
You will be provided with medical insurance which will be strictly in accordance with the company’s medical policy and
subject to the limits negotiated with the medical providers. The medical policy may change from one year to another and is
subject to the policy limits and exclusions. The company does not provide dental & ophthalmic cover. Birth defects are not
covered under our policy. You will also be responsible to pay the policy deductible.

b) Personal Accident Insurance & Group Life Insurance


You will be joining our Personal Accident insurance and Group Life insurance which covers only the employees. The
company may change the insurance provider and or the terms and conditions without prior notice for both Medical and
Personal Accident Insurance. You will be enrolled under the Metito Group Life and Disability policy with effect from the
date of hire, which provides the following benefits:

 Death any cause, Permanent Partial and/or Permanent Total Disability due to accident only, Capital Sum of 24 month
salary subject to a minimum of AED 200,000.-
 Temporary Total Disability due to accident only, weekly salary subject to a maximum of AED 7,000.- per week for a
maximum of 52 weeks.

c) Annual Leave
You shall be entitled to Twenty-Two (22) working days paid Annual Leave after the completion of twelve months and on
your anniversary thereafter. The leave cannot be exchanged for cash or carried forward to subsequent years without the
prior written approval of the Group Human Capital Director. The timing of your leave shall depend on exigencies of the
workload. Should it be required, your leave could be delayed by up to three months. Public holidays whilst on leave shall
not be counted as annual leave. If should you fall sick during your annual leave, the number of those days cannot be
claimed as sick leave.

Should you wish to take leave after the completion of six months, provided it is approved by your Line Director, you can
do so up to 11 working days, or on a pro rata basis to the period worked.

d) Public Holidays
In addition to the annual leave, you are entitled to public holidays in accordance with the UAE labour law. A list of those
holidays is attached in the benefits summary sheet. Should a public holiday fall in a weekend, the company does not give
a day in lieu, unless it is officially announced by the Ministry of Labour.

e) Severance Pay
You shall be entitled to receive the severance pay, or end of service benefits, in accordance with the provisions of the
United Arab Emirates Labour Law.

10) General
a) Group Code of Business Conduct
The Company conducts its business with high ethical standards. For this purpose the company has issued and
implemented the Code of Business Conduct (CBC). All existing and potential employees of the company, world-wide are
expected to strictly abide by the CBC.
The CBC is an integral part of your employment contract and it is attached for you to read and sign the attached form
indicating your understanding, acceptance and willingness to strictly abide by its contents. The joining formalities shall
commence after receiving the signed copy of your contract and the Code of Business Conduct.

b) Confidentiality
In the course of your employment with the company, you will have access to confidential information. You will not, either
during the continuance of your employment or thereafter, divulge such information to any third party outside the
company, or to other company employees. Such information shall remain the sole property of the company and shall not
be used except to the extent necessary to promote the company business. You shall also abide by the non-competition
clauses and in particular, you shall strictly abide by article 127 of the United Arab Emirates Labour Law. You shall not
engage in any competing business to that of the company and you shall not join a competitor for a period of at least two
years from the date you leave the company for whatsoever reason. Such information includes, but not limited to:

i. Any knowledge or information obtained in the course of your employment as to any trade secrets or any methods of
operation of the company.
ii. Any matter concerning the affairs of the company.
iii. Any transaction in which the company may be or may have been concerned with or interested in.
iv. Any information concerning the company which you may have obtained in the course of your employment except and
to the extent only that is necessary for the proper performance of your obligations under this Contract of
Employment.

c) Termination of Employment
This contract of employment may be terminated by either party without giving notice during the probation period of
three months from joining, after which a one-month notice shall be required by either party. However, for strategic
business interests, the company may solely extend the notice period up to three additional months as deemed necessary
by management to protect the company interest. The company may also elect to release you from serving the one month
notice by paying salary in lieu of notice.

Should you resign your position during the probationary period, you will be liable to pay the cost for
processing/cancellation of your employment visa and other associated expenses –first time arrival air-ticket, medical
insurance premium for the three-month period. Please note that you are not entitled to any paid sick leave during the
probationary period.

This employment contract is conditional upon us being able to obtain the necessary visa, work permits, and any other
necessary documentation being granted to you by the authorities. The Company will pay the costs associated with your
employment visa and work permit. You will be required to sign an official contract in accordance with the applicable
statutory laws.

This offer of employment will remain valid for a period of 2 weeks from date of offer. Failure to accept this offer within
this period may result in the offer of employment being withdrawn. The validity of this offer is also dependent on
receiving the signed copy of the Group Code of Conduct which is an integral part of this contract.
