Grade 1
Grade one book teaches the English language smoothly. The book
begins with simple and easy texts that gradually become harder.
Texts become longer to make the students become hooked on
reading. After each text, there are comprehension questions that vary
from multiple choice questions to true/false questions to short answer
questions.
The vocabulary and spelling words are age appropriate and chosen
carefully. Students acquire more than 70 new words and learn how to
spell more than 160 words. As for the grammar part, the lessons given
are up to the grade level. The new words as well as the grammar rules
are used later on in writing.
