Insert the thermometer high in the axilla with the dots against the torso and in
a vertical position. Use the patient’s arm to hold in place and wait for three
minutes. Remove the thermometer and wait for 10 seconds before reading.
Read the matrix: the last blue dot indicates the patient’s temperature.
