● TWBAT implement intentional questioning through reflective, checking for understanding, and open ended questions at least 3
times by the end of the lesson. (1.A.3 Well-Structured Units and Lessons)

● Do not shoot if anyone is standing under the basket.
● Do not pass to someone unless they have their hands up and are looking.
● Keep contact to a minimum!
● No diving for loose balls.
● Be aware of surroundings (walls, curtains, bleachers, people).
● Do not walk through the court if play is going on.
● No intentional fouling (will go over and draw on past sports). Keep play clean.
● Proper footwear is required!
● Do not touch, pull on, hang on, or play with the goals.
● Any injuries that occurred prior to class need to be told to the teacher. Any injuries that happen during class must be reported.

report their scores to me.

Hot Shot Shooting Competition

● We will be using all 3 hoops.
● There will be hot spots on the ground that designate
different places where the students will shoot from.
● Depending on the distance from the hoop, the spots
will be worth different point values.
● Each student will get 1.5 minutes to take as many
shots as they can. Possibly do 2 students at a time per
hoop to save time.
● They cannot shoot from the same spot twice in a row.
● Students not shooting will either keep track of the
shooter’s score or rebound. Need to have people in
both positions.
● The goal is to have the most points at the end of the
time.

● Ready to Shoot:
○ Athletic stance, toes to basket, hands up
● Extensions: more/less time, must shoot from all point
values at least once, rebound for yourself
