CONCLUSION:
The Nestle Wellness Program of Odiongan Central School has been a meaningful and worthwhile experience among the learners, teachers and
stakeholders. Both parents and learners were taught basic life skills and the program has helped them improve their overall health and nutrition. Through this
program, the parents have realized the importance of preparing healthy meal for their families, at the same time they have learned to plant organic green leafy
and fiber-rich vegetables in their backyard. While children have learned to choose to eat and drink healthy and nutritious options such as fruits and vegetables,
water and milk instead of eating “chichirias” and soft drinks. On the other, the lesson on the school waste management has been passed on to the different
homes of the learners as they were taught through the modules about the proper disposal of wastes and the value of reducing, reusing and recycling their waste
materials. Eventually, these healthy lifestyle, and the care for the planet learned by the them will hopefully be carried on to their future families as they grow
up. More importantly, if these good healthy habits and care for the earth will be embedded in the system of these young individuals, they will soon become the
catalysts of change who will make the world a wonderful place to live in.
Moreover, involving the stakeholders in the Nestle Wellness Program through collaboration, communication, and a shared commitment in promoting
the learners’ health and well-being and the regular meetings, feedback sessions, surveys, and evaluation processes can help ensure that the program meets its
intended goals. Thus, making them more responsive to the needs and overall wellbeing of the learners.
Finally, Odiongan Central School has observed the positive impact to the learners, teachers, parents, community and the stakeholders. Thus, it aims to
continue and sustain its implkementation. The school administration, faculty and staff aim to invite more stakeholders to take an active participation in the
implementation to achieve the holistic development of the learners. Likewise, the school plans to strengthen its Gulayan sa Paaralan and Gulayan sa Tahan
Program, continue intensifying the School WinS Program and the School Waste Management Program for the successful and sustainable implementation of the
Nestle Wellness Campus Program.
