CUSTOMER SATISFACTION NOTIFICATION F19


ROLL-OVER VALVE VENT HOSES

De Dear DaimlerChrysler Canada Vehicle Owner:

The satisfaction of our customers is very important to DaimlerChrysler. Because of this, we are requesting
owners of some 2006 Model Year Dodge Ram 2500 and 3500 Pickup Trucks equipped with a Cummins Diesel
Engine to have the following service performed.

The problem is... The roll-over valves on your truck may allow water to enter into the fuel tank.
Excessive water in the fuel can damage the injection pump and/or injectors if the
engine is off for an extended period of time.
What DaimlerChrysler DaimlerChrysler will repair your vehicle free of charge. To do this, your dealer will

necessary depending on how dealer appointments are scheduled and processed.

What you must do… Simply contact your selling dealer right away to schedule a service appointment,
and at the same time provide your dealer with the vehicle VIN number (shown on the
enclosed Service Authorization Card). Ask the dealer to hold the part for your vehicle
or to order it before your appointment. On the day of your appointment, take the
enclosed Service Authorization Card with you and give it to your dealer.

If you need help... If you are unable to return to your selling dealer, any authorized DaimlerChrysler
Canada dealer can perform this service.

9983 (French). We will take the necessary steps to ensure prompt servicing of your
vehicle.

If your name and address as shown on the enclosed Service Authorization Card is incorrect in any way or if you
no longer own this vehicle, please detach the mail-in portion of the card, fill in the correct or new information,
sign and mail it. Postage will be paid by DaimlerChrysler Canada Inc. Your input is needed to update our
records. Information can also be updated on our web page at http://www.daimlerchrysler.ca/owner (English) or
http://www.daimlerchrysler.ca/proprietaires (French).
