    Pusarla Venkata Sindhu, also known as P.V Sindhu, is an Indian
    professional badminton player. She is a top-ranked player in the world
    and has won numerous championships and awards.

    Early Life and Background

    1 Family and Childhood

    P.V Sindhu was born in Hyderabad, India, to parents who were both professional
    volleyball players. She began playing badminton at the age of eight and showed a
    natural talent for the sport.

    Sindhu received professional training from Pullela Gopichand, a former badminton


    player and coach. She later attended St. Ann's College for Women in Hyderabad to
    pursue a degree in commerce.

    Sindhu began her badminton career in 2009 and quickly rose through the ranks. In
    2012, she became the first Indian woman to win a medal in badminton at the
