Mini Dolls - Group D Crochet Pattern

Pattern Details
Size:
The finished mini doll stands approx 9 cm, 3.55 inches tall (excluding the
key ring and bell). Certainly, the thinner yarn you use, the smaller the
doll will be.

Skill Level Needed:


Better use cross stitch single crochet, start each round with 1 chain, and
end with 1 slip stitch.(joined rounds)
Intermediate - suitable for crocheters of medium level, requires patience,
precision and basic crochet skills when assembling the doll.

Materials Needed:
4-ply milk cotton, (milk white #02, light pink #05, light yellow #10,
mustard green #25) one ball each; (sky blue #18, pink #06, light coffee
#31) 10 grams each; (black #34, bright yellow #12) 5 meters each
Candy yarn, white (5 meters)
5 x 7 mm oval straight in eyes (4 pairs)
8 mm flat bottom eyes (3 pairs)
Four silver key rings Yarn needle
Four silver bells Stitch marker
Ten split rings Alcohol glue
A thin wire 1.8 mm crochet hook
Toy stuffing (50 grams) Beading needles
Scissors Adhesive strips (20 cm)

Abbreviations (American terms)


ch = chain together
dec = decrease: work 2 sc inc = increase: work 2 sc in same
st htr = half triple crochet
st(s) = stitch(es) BLO = back loops only
sc = single crochet stitch FLO = front loops only
dc = double crochet stitch sl = slip stitch
tr = triple crochet hdc =half double crochet

Notes:
 It is necessary to remember the starting position of the first needle
with a stitch marker or thread head in the process of hooking for
counting.
 Use a stitch marker to mark the beginning of each round.
 All stitches are worked in both loops unless stated otherwise in the
pattern.
 The beginning and end of the thread can be hidden in stitches or
stuffing. You can also knot the thread as long as it does not affect the
appearance.
 Except for the parts where the stitching position is especially
emphasized, please stitch the other parts to the place you think
suitable.

Pink Pig
Head
Use light pink yarn
Round 1: 7 ch, 5 sc in 2nd chain from hook, 3 sc in same st, 4 sc, inc = 14
(round one refers to the following picture)

Round 2: inc, 4 sc, 3 inc, 4 sc, 2 Round 10: (3 sc, inc, 3 sc) x 6 = 48

Use light pink yarn = 20
Round 1: 11 ch, 9 sc in 2nd chain Round 4: (8 sc, dec) x 2 = 18

Round 2: 22 sc = 22 Round 8: 6 dec = 6
Round 3: 4 sc, dec, 8 sc, dec, 6 sc
Stuff it with a small amount of the filling cotton.

Hand x 2
Use light pink yarn
Round 1: 5 sc in a magic ring = 5
Round 2-5: 5 sc = 5
No need stuffing.

Ear x 2
Use light pink yarn
Round 1: 6 sc in a magic ring = 6 Round 4: (3 sc, inc) x 3 =15
Round 2: (sc, inc) x 3 = 9 Round 5: 8 sc, 7 sts left without
Round 3: (2 sc, inc) x 3 =12 crocheting

Collar
Use milk white yarn
19 ch, (sl, 3 dc in same st, sl) x 6 in 2nd chain from hook

Flower
Use milk white yarn
(2 ch, dc, 2 ch) x 5 in a magic ring (refer to the following picture)
Stamen: use bright yellow yarn, 3 ch, sl to the 1st st

Nose
Use pink yarn
Round 1: 4 ch, 2 sc in 2nd chan from hook, 3 sc in same chain, sc, inc = 8
Round 2: inc, (sc, inc) x 3, sc = 12
Sew two vertical lines on the nose with milk white yarn, and then stick
them to the head.

Expression
(The expression position is for reference only and can be adjusted as
appropriate.)
Sew the ears to the head between rows 2-8.
Stick the flower between rows 2-6 of the head, nose between rows 9-13,
eyes in row 11 (5 x 7 mm oval eyes).
Connect the key ring and bell with split rings.
What a lovely pink pig is finished!

Brace x 2: 15 ch, sew them to the body
Stuff the body with a small amount of filling cotton.

Hand x 2
Use milk white yarn, Round 1-5: 5 sc = 5

Ear x 2
Use milk white yarn
Round 1: 6 sc in a magic ring = 6 Round 3: (2 sc, inc) x 3 = 12
Round 2: (sc, inc) x 3 = 9 Round 4: 12 sc = 12

Bow-knot
Use light pink yarn
Start in a magic ring, (3 ch, 2 dc, 3 ch) x 2

Refer to the above picture to crochet.


Fasten off and wrap the remaining yarn around the middle part of the
bow-knot for 2 turns.
Expression

1. Embroider the beard with 1-ply black yarn, and embroider the nose
with 4-ply bright yellow yarn.
2. Sew and stick the ears between rows 5-9 of the head, bow-knot
between rows 2-7, beard between rows 10-14, eyes (5 x 7 mm oval
eyes) and nose in row 12.
3. Apply blush and install the key ring and bell.

Use sky blue yarn

Use milk white yarn
Stick the 8 mm flat bottom eyes to the center of the head.

Expression
1. Embroider the mouth with 1-ply black yarn.
2. Sew and stick the ears, eyes, and mouth to the head between rows
4-6, rows 8-14 and rows 12-15 in turn
3. Apply blush. Oh, do not forget to install the key ring and bell.

Use light yellow yarn

Use white candy yarn to crochet one round of sc in each of the 2 nd , 3rd
and 4th row of the head.
Stuff the head full slowly.
Body
Use light yellow yarn
Round 1: 11 ch, 9 sc in 2nd ch from = 20
hook, 3 sc in same st, 8 sc, inc = Round 4: (8 sc, dec) x 2 = 18

Round 2: 22 sc = 22 Round 7: (sc, dec) x 6 = 12
Round 3: 4 sc, dec, 8 sc, dec, 6 sc Round 8: 6 dec = 6
Stuff it with a small amount of filling cotton.

Hand x 2
Use light yellow yarn
Round 1: 5 sc in a magic ring = 5
Round 2-5: 5 sc = 5

Ear x 2
Use light yellow yarn
Round 1-5: 6 sc in a magic ring = Round 2: 6 inc = 12
6 Round 3: (sc, inc) x 6 = 18
Fold them in half and sew up, then apply pink blush inside the ears.

Scarf
Use sky blue yarn
25 ch in 2nd ch from hook, 9 sl, 10 sc, 5 sl

Sheep’s horn x 2
As shown, cut 7 cm
adhesive strips, and apply
alcohol glue to it. Then
wrap 4.5 cm with 1-ply light
coffee yarn, finally bend
out the shape.
Eye sockets
First, secure the position with beading needles.
Then pull one eye with a sewing up needle and pull tightly toward the
back of the head. Pull the other one like this.
Last, stick the 8 mm flat bottom eyes on.
Expression

1. Embroider the nose, mouth and eyebrows with 1-ply black yarn. (It is
recommended to outline the nose with the yarn, and then fill the
interior.)
2. Sew and stick the horns, ears, eyebrows, eyes and nose to the row 5,
row 6, between rows 8-9, rows 10-12, and rows 1-14.
3. Apply blush to the cheeks and install the key ring and bell.
What a cute little sheep is done!
